Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, known locally as Atlanta Airport, Hartsfield, or Hartsfield-Jackson, is an international airport located seven miles (11 km) south of the central business district of Atlanta, in the U.S. state of Georgia. It has been the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic since 1998, and by number of landings and take-offs from 2005 to 2013, and in 2015. Hartsfield-Jackson held its ranking as the world's busiest airport in 2012, both in passengers and number of flights, by accommodating 100 million passengers (more than 260,000 passengers daily) and 950,119 flights. Many of the nearly one million flights are domestic flights from within the United States, where Atlanta serves as a major hub for travel throughout the Southeastern United States. The airport has 207 domestic and international gates.

I had a last minute flight change and my connecting flight wound up being in Atlanta. I didn't realize how beautiful Atlanta was, I couldn't believe my eyes seeing all that greenery. It was so beautiful, thank you for uploading this.

I've flown from UK to Atlanta...it was busy but very well organised. Then I flew to Philadelphia....omg! Crazy!! No clear instruction... Confusion all around and bloody enormous! At least you get the train to your luggage in Atlanta! Anyway, I ❤️the USA!

I lived in Atlanta for 15 years. 2003-2018. The biggest problem with Atlanta is that it’s completely surrounded by Georgia!

nice vid, reminds me of my first time flying with my big brother....I was 12, and did not know how all the control surfaces worked. as we came in, I saw the spoilers come up and that nice view through the wing box...thought the wing was coming apart and loudly announced same to the entire cabin. flight crew not amused...

Atlanta airport is the busiest airport on earth. the reason it's so busy is because :
- Many pass through this airport to get to smaller airports
- Atlanta is a hub for Delta
- Many travelers who come from smaller airports in the region will most likely come here for a layover
- Atlanta is one of the biggest cities in the Eastern USA
- Atlanta is a diverse city giving people from all over come to see their families
- Tourism such as coca cola world, Delta, chick fil a, Georgia aquarium
- One of the largest airports on Earth
- Many major airlines stop here
