Excellent work! I’ve recently been playing around with assigns and internal pedals to add a little movement in delay modulation which has been fun. Will try and apply some of this approach too!

Yes those internal pedals can be cool, I’ve only used the wave one so far but looking to try & create a glitch delay over the coming weeks & will dive deeper. I started to build a digital rig with the GT1000 and Tonex Pedal for live use in two metal bands. So far I am very pleased with the way it sounds and the overall workflow, except for one thing: I would like to be able to use one output with a cab sim into FOH and have one without a cab sim to be able to go to a power amp and real cab. Now while the GT1000 does have the outputs and routing possibilities to do this, the cab section only works when an amp model is active in the GT1000 (which I don't need as the tonex pedal is my "amp"). The common workaround is to set up an extra divider path with an amp model and turn the whole path to zero. HOWEVER, the selected amp model STILL affects the sound of the cab sim, even when using 3rd party IRs. Any idea on how to handle this, since you are basically using the same rig. Or am I doing something wrong?
Hey man, hope you’re well. Yea it’s a problem, I think coz AIRD is an interactive thing the amp block in GT even though turned down adds it’s own power amp colour. It’s also a shame that the ToneX doesn’t allow us to put cab sim on one of the outputs & not the other. I use a Two Notes Cab M in a S/R of my GT when I use it’s preamps - it uses DynIR which works really well with GT amps. This would be the only workaround I can think of that gets around the issue you’re having. Cab in is very low in latency too which helps routing this way. I reckon any IR loader other than GT would do the trick but just check latency. Hope this is making sense & helpful
@@planzed.2 Hi, thank you for replying. I figured that using an IR Loader would be the only option, but I was hoping there was another way for latency issues just as you mentioned. The frustrating thing about this is, the hardware is all there to do this, but these design flaws on BOTH units keep me from using the full potential of this otherwise so great setup. At least on the Tonex there is hope that a future firmware will fix the outputs. I just can't believe they would have a "stereo" output just for the reverb on a unit like this. Anyway, nice content! Can't wait to get more in depth with your videos as soon as I have my basic setup up and running. Seems to me Tonex + GT1000 is one of the most flexible digital rigs besides going for an Axe FX.
@@ctothekaye7989 😂🤚 you are a lot like me, I would love an AxeFX!! It is frustrating when the gear you want or have is capable of doing what you want but the R&D team that designed it weren’t experienced or thorough enough to implement it - there’s a lot of that theses days! That said what a time to be alive for guitar gear - we are spoilt really!

No real man can treat women the way they do, particularly women who aren’t the same religion or race as them coz they seem to like our white girls if you look at the crime stats. They don’t prey on black girls, is that coz they’re racist? No, they don’t bully me, I’m not vulnerable, their impact disgusts me. You ppl always miss the obvs btw.
