Just found this video and loved it, looked like a blast. How do you communicate with each other whilst on the trail, I heard you mention CB……. Is that the way to go generally ? Most communication videos are in the States and it’s all GMRS & Ham. Keep enjoying life Marra (Allan, West Cumbria)

Great video again! Nice to see the D3 in use. I’d love to get a D3 so I can have a Land Rover with a few more creature comforts.. but I’m always nervous of the reliability of those 2.7 V6’s (I know the TD5 is also not overly reliable but at least they’re easy to fix as a DIYer) 😂
100% bud, if something goes wrong on the d3 I’m pretty screwed and it would be recovery home compared to the d2

What would be your advice for a beginner on how to find green lanes? How do you find the ones in your videos? Also are there laning meet ups and where are these advertised?
I have a D2 but am a very beginner off roader and only know a few local spots. Would be great if you did a video on starting out laning and maybe answering questions like the ones I've asked.

I would start with joint glass, which is the green lane organisation. Free m that you will have trial wise 2. This gives you all information on green laning.
As for camps etc there’s a lot on Facebook now
Around 4:40 what are the inserts both the d2's have in the rear windows for ventilation?
Think there like a dog breather so air can circulate for them
