Never heard a older person complain about skateboards and if to many people walk on grass all the time it kills it. Seriously. Plus people tend to not be considerate when walking on people's property and leave trash and who know what else. Did you hear about a weird woman who actually poops on a diffrent person's yard every single day when she jogs? Even brings her own TP and leaves it. You can't make this up folks!
It would help more if the report was actually made from inside of a house right next this courts while people were playing to understand the noise complaint.

"I don't think it's that annoying!" says the person making the noise. The frequency of the sound is *obnoxiously* more intense than tennis and it can go on for hours at a time.
People really have to complain about everything. They should just mind their own business and let these seniors have their fun. It’s great that they’re being active and doing their favorite activity.
I live next door to a church. One evening they decided to set up a couple pickleball nets out in the parking lot that butts up against our back property line and play at an event they had with kids. Lemme tell you......nothing more annoying than that. It's like ping pong amplified. It was a nice evening in the 70's, and we had our windows open......had to close up and just turn on the AC and wait them out, lol.
It doesn't sound that annoying in this short minute and a half clip, but if I had to hear it ALL DAY LONG, I'm sure it would probably eventually drive me crazy!
I live by busy pickelball courts. It's definitely annoying at times. Like 8 in the morning on a Saturday and they use a loud microphone to announce matches. It could definitely be more quiet.
I feel like "Do we look like trouble makers" is a good universal term for anyone trying to enjoy an activety that others don't like, like skateboarding.
I like to play tennis sometimes and the pickleball seniors just started taking over, so I was like whatever and started walking home. I heard the pickleball noises from like a mile away. Pickleball really is loud
I'm retired now, but I was a tennis coach for a number of years and it was growing increasingly difficult to find places to play because the county was turning a number of tennis courts into pickleball courts.
Doesn’t sound annoying, it probably wouldn’t make me up either. That’s just me though, if anything I wouldn’t wake up because I sleep like if I were a rock.

There is an easy solution to the problem. Pin directional loud speakers blasting alarm signals directly at the court. That way, the players get to enjoy the wonderful noises of their game and get their nerves rattled at the same time. I would be sick of that noise after hours of listening to it day after day.
This court is literally surrounded by residential houses. Of course this is totally noise pollution and outrageous. I can totally see people finding this absurd. Badminton is even more easier and senior friendly and almost no sound and uses the same nets and court. Maybe play that...
Maybe get over yourself and leave your neighbors alone. There's noise ordinances for cities. So long as they're following the times set in those then they're fine.
I’m not typically a complainer but converting tennis courts to pickle ball courts in neighborhoods with homes right next to them is borderline criminal. That noise is horrible compared to tennis and could seriously completely ruin the ability for someone to live peacefully on their property. Sound barrier around the fencing of all pickle ball courts near housing should be mandatory. Keep your piercing pop pop pop sound to yourself! Yourself!!!!!
