Fun video, but you made a kazoo, not a harmonica. Harmonicas have multiple reeds tuned to establish harmonies with each other, hence the name.

I've been studying constructing a marimba and discovered a great website at Delfords magic plan (check it out on google)
There are many components to doing a pro job. One place I discovered that successfully combines these is the Delfords Magic Plan (check it out on google) without a doubt the no.1 course that I've seen. look at this super website.
My favorite part is at 2:30 when he says in a happy voice "It's kind of like we're snowboarding." Then he goes serious, "but we're not." All I wanted was to snowboard and he ripped it away from me

This is the second video I’ve seen calling a kazoo a harmonica. Harmonicas have reeds and make different notes. Kazoos are the ones you hum into and make the note yourself. You can also get the same kazoo effect wrapping tissue paper around a comb.

Learn what a harmonica is, a harmonica makes different notes depending on the hole and whether you blow or draw, as well as it is harmonized (hence the name) so as to sound better than that junk you made. Sure, it works for a homemade project to teach sound vibrations, but A.) DON'T CALL IT A HARMONICA HARMONICAS ARE AWESOME and B.) DON'T CALL IT A HARMONICA IN ANY SENSE OF THE TERM IT IS NOT.

First of all, it's not a harmonica; it's a kazoo. And if you want to make a simple kazoo, without all this trouble, you do as I was taught in the 1950's: fold a piece of wax paper over a comb and hum on it. A lot faster and a lot less effort.

if you colour these with markers it will come off in your mouth its wet saliva. it sounds and works more like a gazoo
Just to clarify... This is a kazoo. It doesn't matter how it looks. It functions like a kazoo. Harmonicas use reeds that are set at a certain frequency, and they only play that frequency when you blow on it. Kazoos have a single Reed (the rubber band in this case) which can have multiple frequencies played with it, depending on how you hum. In short, harmonicas are not played by humming like kazoos are.
