Excellent breakdown of all three new series of First Lite whitetail 🦌 gear. I do like the idea of a vest with a lighter more mobile layer underneath. 😃🏹🦌
@@elidewey8592 that’s a tough call! I’d say the core might be just a hair warmer, but it would stack up well. Especially if you can throw a furnace or kiln base layer underneath!
@@alanhoogeveen4530 Thanks! I have the Garmin Fenix 7x Pro solar. Did I need all those features? Probably not, is it nice to charge it once every 2-3 weeks, absolutely haha
I can't speak for First Lite, but I would guess not before season since it is brand new? I know the sanctuary stuff has been on sale to move that inventory out with all of the new stuff in stock now.
@@evansteib3627 I did. Wore that more than any of the other stuff. It is surprisingly tough. It feels like it wouldn’t be but it help up very well. I dont wear mine while I hike to and from the stand but every now and again I’d leave it on for shifting locations or whatever and never had any issues. I think if you busted a lot of brush over time it could be an issue, but that face fabric is stronger than you think Hope that helps!
If you are looking for just a normal pant, the 308 whitetail is the best whitetail hunting pant I've ever used. If you need insulation, the 308 will not replace the phase as it is just a normal poly pant. You can obviously throw on some base layer, but there is not insulating or windproofing factor. Hope that helps!
@@soholtbrothers thanks that does help. Thinking I will still get the 308 so then I can double it for use in turkey season. And then once it gets cold enough I’ll go with core bibs
Great job man!

Is the thermic better than Sitka fanatic
Great breakdown!
What would you say would be warmer - the Phase jacket with the source jacket stacked together, or the core jacket alone?

Hey Sam, great video, love the channel. What brand/model of watch are you wearing?

Will the thermic line go on sale for 40% off before the season this year?

Did you get a chance to test the core set? I just got my core set in and the face fabric doesn’t look/feel very durable. Feels like it may rip easily.

Do you have experience with 308 whitetail pant? Was thinking about getting that instead of phase bib for early season

is this the stuff that costs like $600 per piece ?
No, most of the pieces range from $325-$500 depending on which level of insulation you go with. The phase is $325, Thermic is $500.
1 year later they upgrade all there already updated line. That's gotta suck
Actually the last update to all of the gear was 2022, and all of the new stuff that just dropped has been in development since 2020.
