THANK YOU! How is Stafford getting all the flack, he had no run game at all. HE LITERALLY HAD TO PLAY LIKE HE WAS ON THE LIONS WITH 1 GOOD RECEIVER. The defense didn’t really help anyway, granted the bills are insane.
It’s such a treat, a delight, a pleasure to watch Josh Allen play. The form he has out there just makes your eyes feel good.

I thought the Bills defense was the star of the show. Both of the quarterbacks threw 2 or more interceptions & both offenses struggled with turnovers. The difference was really the Bills defense making the Rams pay.
You are not giving JA enough credit at all and it's crazy that you are saying the only difference was the defense. I mean, the defense was great and all but Josh Allen was almost perfect while Stafford was terrible. Allen had one bad throw and it resulted in an interception. The first interception was completely out of his control and 100% on McKenzie.

I’m leaning towards that. I want to see how they handle the next five games. Minus the Steelers and Dolphins, who both shouldn’t be too far disregard, all of the opponents are playoff caliber. If they somehow manage to go 5-1 or 6-0 then they are virtually an AFCCG lock. The only real tough matchup they have after the early-mid season are the Bengals, maybe the Browns if they end up making a go at it with Watson. They could very well go 15-2 this season.

Allen made ONE mistake last night. His pass over the middle on the 2nd interception wasn’t a good decision (though his receiver could’ve done better on that as well). Other than that, he was absolutely exquisite.
One interception per game would probably lead the league by the end of the year.
I would argue that the defender just made a great play instead of Josh Allen making a bad decision. Crowder just stopped in his tracks and the defender just leaped in front of him.

What Colin is describing Brett Favre’s style of playing lose & high scoring, huge yards, always running around to the last minute for a big play, kinda with the play style of a cowboy, & fun to watch. That sounds exactly like a New Era Favre (who similarly struggled early & turned around a struggling Packers team.)

Leslie Frazier is the real star behind the defense. Buf has essentially two defensive minded HCs that appear they will find a way to stop all these high powered offenses in the league .
Sometimes I wonder how these guys get their job. It has to be personality over substance.
The average NFL fan understood all of the stuff that wasn’t apparent to Colin and guys like Nick Wright - the injuries, Stafford’s tendency to throw picks. Most of the people I know predicted at least a 14 point Bills win.
Meanwhile, these so-called experts didn’t believe Buffalo was even going to cover the spread.
Yeah Allen is going to be the best quarterback this year and going forward. When they get his line top notch it will be nasty to watch him throw.

Josh Allens 1 interception that people thought was his fault was actually Jameson Crowder's fault. Crowder slowed down in his route allowing defender to catch up to the pass. Josh was practically perfect in every way

Every play to Kupp is the problem period. The defense did not even have to guess after half no use of check downs and no run game just Staford staring down Kupp.
A good comparison might be Manu Ginobli. Mostly moments of absolute brilliance, nutmegging people with passes, hard drives into the lane, but the occasional turnover on a gamble.

Cam Akers is not as good as the Rams coaches seem to think. He is way below average. Let's face it: the Rams need an above average running back, and they don't have one.
It's not so much a question of the Running Back being bad, it's the offensive line isn't good. That's the problem. Get a better offensive line and Akers would be doing much better.

If the Rams can't upgrade that offensive line, they are looking at a 5-12 season. It was apparent in that game that the Rams really miss Whitworth, Miller, and Odell. Miller, they can't get back, but maybe they can beg Whitworth to come back? And maybe Odell will get healthy enough to play? Way more questions than answers for the Rams this year.
Akers is coming off of an achilles tear. That took his explosiveness. McVay is treating him like another guy now, cause that is what he is.

But that win against the 49ers (one of the top 5 teams in the NFL possibly top 3) was huge! Then they play in the SB against a team that was given a free touchdown. Without the threat of Josh Allen as a runner their offense isn’t that dynamic. Diggs and the receiver core are under 6 foot and besides all non #1 receivers on any team. I just gotta see it to believe it and jumping on their bandwagon. A weak division doesn’t help their cause for greatness this season. NE, NY and Miami are trash so that 6 wins but January and February will reveal the truth.
One thing I've noticed with the Rams is they struggle against good teams that use the 4-3 defense. Sometimes bad teams like the Jets.
On the other hand they Feast on 3-4 defenses. These teams tend to Blitz more and they get burned by the Rams.
Yeah they struggle against that 4 man rush. Fortunately the Bills have pretty much the best d line in the league and they rotate them
