They are the same. WVU is Philips's answer to Osram CBI. Both are warmer than pure white light.

I would need light bulb only for high beam (reflector type).
What do you recommend, the Xtreme Vision 150 or the White Vision Ultra?
I read, that the XV is better in (I suppose) low beam conditions. Have you experience with them in high beam.
I am looking for a good and also white, more or less long lasting high beam H7 bulb.
Get RacingVision GT200. If you don't have it there, get X-tremeVision Pro150. WV Ultra are really bad on rain and dim. I wouldn't put them anywhere. Just don't expect pure white loght. For that you need LED.
Hi, which Is the difference of brightness and temperature in real use between Xtreme vision 150 and "standard" whitevision? What do you advice to use? Thanks
I haven't measured WhiteVision witht he light meter. Maybe I will in the future although they were used about 8 months, so I can't compare them with the XV which were brand new at the point of the measurement. I like WhiteVision more for the cooler light without compromise on visibility. XV on the other hand will look very warm, especially at daytime.

@@mr.kraken8847 The feeling of visibility is better with WhiteVision but don't expect a high difference. The WV Ultra are weaker than both and bad on rain.

Salut! Ia Philips RacingVision GT200. Sa nu te astepti la lumina alba sau intensitate de xenon si totul va fi ok. Sa ai grija sa nu atingi deloc sticla becului, ca sa nu se arda repede.

Salut, am un Passat B8 cu halogene știu că are H7 pe scurtă și H9 pe lunga , ce îmi recomanzi pentru amândouă, vreau o lumină mai bună dar nici sa mă doară ochii, merci și felicitări pentru efortul depus!
Pe H7 incearca sa gasesti Philips WHiteVision 3700k. Daca nu le poti lua la maxim 100 lei setu atunci ia Philips RacingVision GT200. pe H9 n stiu daca poti gasi altceva decat niste becuri obisnuite. ia si acolo tot ceva de la Philips.

Honestly I think the WhiteVision Ultra is the worst option in the Phillips lineup, at least imo.
Beam lenght with up to 60% (24m) and a lifespan of 200h, thats really bad on both 😟
The only advantage is that they look very good! 😍

@@m3rovingian Luxster is about 70w per lamp. Total 140w. Are there any problem if i fit the led to my 55w hir2 system ?
@@remzibalcan5309 That is only in the initial power consumtion, to be more specific, on the first turn on @ 12V they reached an incredible 78.5W/LED, but after that up until 14.5V they decreased in brightness and power consumtion to about 66W/LED. Compare this to the 64-65W/halogen at the same Voltage and you'll see you have nothing to worry about from any point of view, Wattage and Amp wise, they are really close to Philips GT200 or OSRAM 200. On the other hand, the HIKARI 2023 Titanova LED are incredibly efficient, considering they keep up, after 35 minutes, almost the same brightness as LUXTER 2024 Punisher LED. The difference is only of 300 LUX. That's why HIKARI Titanova are so expensive. You will have no problem what so even with HIKARI nor LUXSTER.

Out of all the halogens I recommend the cheapest +200% one. Out of all the LEDs I tested so far the ACUMA Nova-S +600% are amazing.

Asa le-a filmat camera, insa in realitate sunt slabe pe ploaie. Cele mai bune halogene raman RacingVision GT200. Doar sa nu te astepti la lumina alba de xenon sau LED si va fi totul ok.
@@m3rovingian Sincer să fiu, mie-mi trebuie varianta pentru poziție :))... acolo nu știu cât e de important (plus că variantele mele ambele ar fi de 3300K deci cred că se văd ceva mai binișor pe timp de ploaie)... și mă gândeam la una din cele două în locul celui standard, galben (VW Golf Mk4 '98, deh, atât s-a putut :)) )

@@smile3dLand Aia ma miram si eu. Pune direct LEDuri acolo ca nu zice nimeni nimic. Gaseste Philips Ultinon W5W de 4000K si te vor tine cel putin 12 ani. O sa consume si foarte putin. 1W in loc de 5. Doar sa nu ai martor de bec ars in bord, ca atunci e posibil sa dea eroare. Toate celelalte becuri de pozitii, care sunt incandescente, chiar daca au sticla albastra, vor fi galbui.
Xtreme looks very rich light
Compared to WVU they are much better, but the light is way warmer.

@@skullrush4493 Yes. They have a colder light which gives you better visibility on low beams and last twice as much as XV.
