Still playing this Spec and eating ALL including Shamans. They nerfed Shadowflame for us but gave us a Execute with Drain Soul, I'll take that trade off. Thanks so much for posting this, this has been my favorite class/spec ever now.
You've inspired me to make a melee lock. Dragon's Cry would be insanely cool and good for this build, the whelp does four 250 nature damage casts. Dope vid
Sometimes I find myself literally just jumping in place while drain life & Felguard do the work on a kill. I’m definitely adding this to my playstyle 😆
You can grind mobs nicely, mobs your level and above will cause your autoattacks to be glancing hits though. Its like wanding but a bit better. I did test it in gnomeregan last phase and it did work, it wasn't too terrible, but I obviously didn't do more damage than tanks. All autohits on bosses did 1 dmg because of glancing blows sadly. If you wanna be a memer in your raid with this you won't be entirely useless at the very least.
Yea it works, faster weapons are better for weaving in spells, since casting a spell resets the swingtimer (except drain life, theres a weird interaction with channels). The only downside is less consistent firestone procs since its PPM based. You'll also deal a bit less burst. I used Electrocutioner Needle last phase and it works great. I think the sword from ST that procs corruption and gives 1% hit might also be really good for this
Yup, works vs everyone. Testing on mobs that are lvl 51 and doing 50-70% glancing blows (autohits doing 25dmg), with decent luck I did 20% of my dmg with all dots up on the target as melee and the procs. Worst case scenario 10%. On a player the dmg can reach up to 30%+. Its very effective. When stars align I can do 700+ dmg in one autohit with the procs and crits.
mom can we have at least pretend to have balanced gameplay? we have balanced gameplay at home balanced gameplay at home: its somewhat amusing to see how wow has fallen to a private server level because thats what keep people paying
When all stars align with Synergy up, depending on the target's armour, firestone, fiery wep and the wep onhit proccing can add up to about 700+ dmg on a single hit

What talents are you using for this build?
If you asked me do I want to watch a warlock melee people down in SoD, i'd say no.
and i'd be wrong. Amazing stuff lol.

Also Teebu's at 60 would be sick
@@moisty1642 Yea those would be pretty sick! Im hoping blizzard buff up some of the other proc weapons as well, like the sword from rivendare
Glad to see you're stilling kicking man! Keep em coming!
Likewise dude! Sure will
He can't keep getting away with it
Ah yes! It made my day better!
This is nuts and looks so fun
Haha, I'm onto you now! Reacting before you even linked this vid to me. Seethe and cope.

Do you find this build useful at all in pve? Or just only pvp

So now in phase 3 you don't see it doing decent damage in ST raid? Also what sword are you using?
You think a proc dagger would work? Not too many good procs at 60 until they add new stuff to next phase

Did you find this melee tactic actually viable in a lot of pvp scenarios or is it more of a meme playstyle?

To be fair, private servers were better for past some years.
Posting this to guild chat as I am the only warlock 😅😂
God damn there's another one
can you give talent build link?

this spec is viable in p4 pvp ?
No clue I haven't played p4
Does any of this scale with spell power?
Only the weapon onhit has some small SP scaling but its less than 10% I think
lmao))
With 28 atk power. Im dead 😂
what you rune?
Pandemic, Master Channeler, Felguard, Haunt, Grimoire of Synergy, Demonic Grace, Shadowflame
Just curious how much of your damage is melee attacks?
Firestone adds a chance to proc fire dmg on hit
When all stars align with Synergy up, depending on the target's armour, firestone, fiery wep and the wep onhit proccing can add up to about 700+ dmg on a single hit
Where do you find theese paid actors ?
The same way I find payed commenters like you
