It's my understanding that Anarchy means no hierarchy or all organizations and individuals have equal rights. Government as we know it can't exist in an anarchical Society because government uses a clame of higher authority over individual rights to enforce things like taxation. murdering, stealing or vandalism would be creating a hierarchy in which you've decided your rights are superior to another individual or group and thus anti-anarchical in nature.
clame? claim?
Hello. Thank you for making this video. I now understand the government more! :))

IS TEACHER KEEP PLAYING THIS VIDEO OVER AND OVER AGAIN >:(
is duty and Responsibilitys the same thing?
no, duties are a must, while responsibilities are optional but good for your country
A duty is required by law and carries some form of punishment for non-compliance. A responsibility is something you should do, but there is no requirement though law or negative court assigned consequences.
You should teach Civics.
so nice

This video is wrong. We do not live in a democracy we live in a constitutional republic. Further this video is very vague on taxes. Gasoline taxes pay for roads & the Federal government was supposed to be paid for by interstate taxes & international tariffs. The IRS is also an unconstitutional system.
Hi, I'm using the word "democracy" in its broad, commonly accepted usage to represent a form of government in which the people hold the political power. There are several variations this can take, a republic being one, and a direct democracy being another. In a narrow usage, the word "democracy" can signify a direct democracy. At some point in the future I'll make a video addressing taxation in more detail.
@@CitizenGenius understood but to use the word "democracy" in it's common usage implies some level of socialism which our constitutional republic is firmly set against. Politicians in general & democrats specifically bandy about that word when they are speaking about socialist reforms. As a former soldier, i took an unending oath to defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign & domestic which I take very seriously.
There are literally millions of laws on the books currently that are "democratic" in nature which are anathema to the original conception of our way of law. As an example, federal income taxes, strictly speaking are unconstitutional yet we have them. So is having a federal reserve bank. All highly "democratic" in nature because our lawmakers voted for them who we in turn voted for.
hmmmm
lol
who else is here for online classes
America is a *_CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC…NOT A “democracy.”_*
This is America we are talking about here right? 4 out of the 5 people are non white, that’s more like South America or maybe some eastern countries 😂🤣😂
This is funny, I am trying to understand why people like this label the US as a democracy. The US is a Republic. Plainly stated in the Pledge of Allegiance. Stop trying to falsely inform the people, and teach them what we really are.
Hi, the term democracy is typically used as an umbrella term for a government of the people. A republic is a specific version of that, as is a direct democracy which seems to be how you are using the term democracy.
