This is my most favourite series of all time. In a world where everyone loved a walter white or jon snow i always loved robert leckie and eugene sledge
All are good, but what hits different is knowing Leckie and Sledge were real people. Their experience isn’t some fantasy of a drug kingpin with cancer or a warrior fighting ice zombies, the conflict they faced was real and if wasn’t for people like them the world would be a much much worse place. It really is something
how do you edit so many different genres of music to so many different fandoms and make it all look so effortless??? Once again, i dont know this fandom but god you really pulled me in from the start and kept me hooked right to the end, the emotional journey of this really was Too Much an you just have the knack for the emotional punches when you edit
Check out Bob Leckies' book "Strong men armed " for an excellent history of the Marines in the Pacific. I also like "Helmet for my pillow" ." Lucky" was an exceptionally gifted writer . I recommend both
I have nightmares sometimes where I'm screaming for a corpsman knowing it won't matter if he got my friend or if he didn't and there isn't nothing I can do but lie and tell him everything will be ok. The helplessness of knowing nothing in your power can change the fact that once he's done chocking on blood that sound will be all you will ever have left of him.
CAUTION: Spoilers! FINALLY, a show or movie where James Badge Dale’s (Leckie) character doesn’t get killed. I know Robert Leckie, God rest his soul, has passed away in real life, but he doesn’t get killed in the war, sadly like Tyrone Woods in “13 hours” or Captain Jesse Steed in “Only The Brave.”

RIP Pfc. Robert Leckie (December 18, 1920-December 24, 2001) Semper Fi.
I can't imagine another actor playing leckie or sledge they both nailed the roles so good that also goes for band of brothers
A masterpiece, Leckie is the best, and this song..

glad you think it's an emotional edit, i honestly put little thought in this - it was more a natural/instinctive work here

I love him so much. Underrated character by its own fandom!

The real Robert was quite the Marine/writer

This is an excellent edit. May I ask what movie/show this is from?
Thank you. It's "The Pacific" (2010)
@@whcares Thanks :)
