That's how it worked in Colour Splash. In Sticker Star, you have to beat them on your first turn for a Perfect Bonus.

My personal favorite part of the game is after beating Bowser, and you still have the Kristy Sticker.

- Potholes. If Kristy is a royal sticker, and Bowser is a royal sticker, than why didn't she just stick herself to Mario? Also, so No Toads or anyone nice decided to put on a royal sticker themselves? It just so happened that team bowser got all 6 of them before anyone good did? And how come if you stick a royal sticker to yourself you get uncontrollable power, yet I'm the final fight, If you choose NOT to keep Kristy and toss her later, Mario doesn't go Crazy Evil like the snowman did? Sigh...
- That and Mario WASTED his wish at the end of the game! He could of latsa spaghetti! Or maybe he could have wished to be higher tier in smash bros. But no...

It seems like that she only has dialogues if you beat a boss without using their gimmick sticker, either that or the game just considers not worth it to waste later game stickers for those fights, either option is stupid tho, they could have just make it so that she doesn’t say anything if you beat the boss in 1 turn

THIS is what happens when you program an INFINITE JUMP into a game.
It's not infinite, if you hit a hundred jumps it ends

CrazyE actually i thought the staacked 100 boo like that because i was like "wait, we can't kill more than one layer at a time right ?" Then i used the mega infini boots, i thought it would make you jump 25 tiems, not 100....

I've always been kind of annoyed by Kersti. Huey from *Color Splash* was at least charming and had hilarious dialogue. Kersti was a flat arrogant nag that always ridicules you for not using the right stickers. And yet, unlike Huey, she spontaniously reappears after supposedly dissapearing at the end of the game. And for what, yelling a whole lot?

The Hedgity Hogaroo Well, i like both, but i'm kinda sad that huey didn't came back, but kersti does. Even if you complete color splash to 100%, huey just falls deadly into the color. I think huey deserves a comeback too!

It's made worse by the fact that you can use every sticker you own, but as long as you use the "correct" sticker, she'll be like "This is fine."

For anyone wondering about how to do the worlds out of order: here it is:
(spoilers below (obviously))
To access World 2 & 4-6, all you need to do is obtain a Poison Shroom. The only thing blocking World 2 is a large door, on which you must Paperize 6 stickers, a Jump, a Hammer, a Shroom, a Poison Shroom, and two others that I'm too lazy to check. Inside 2-2 Yoshi Sphinx, there is a Lightbulb Thing that is required to obtain the Ship Steering Wheel Scrap. From there, you can then do the other worlds. Finally, to do World 3, you do need to complete World 1 but don't have to beat the boss. The Trumpet thing is hidden in Goomba Fortress, which is required to start World 3.
You can’t do that in Paper Mario:TTYD (or maybe you can I’ve never played that game). But people say this game is more linear than TTYD
You actually also need the Fishhook from World 3; the boss fight with the Giant Cheep Cheep is unwinnable without it. No matter what you use on the first turn, he survives on one hp and goes into the water, at which point the Fishhook is the only thing that can get him out.

The Fishhook is beyond a Secret Door, the one found in the level you can make purchase them
however, at the cost For a Sizeable Fee of Course

Gotta love how the game chastises you for not beating bosses the intended way, as if to say that the intended way is the only "correct" way and using any other strategy is just flat out wrong.
Color Splash is honestly worse about that, because there literally is not any other way beyond using required Things.
@@SwordfighterRedit sucks. It ruins the flow of the final battle when you have to run away and backtrack to get a Thing that you might not even know the location of. Then you come back and get halfway through the battle and find out that you need ANOTHER Thing. Please for the love of god just let me take from the massive stockpile of cards I've saved up to beat the boss instead.

Charmuu S I think that game is decent if your consider it another kind of game. I think people would have like this game more if it was not a paper Mario game. But it’s ass compared to other paper Mario games. I have a unpopular opinion that the original paper Mario game was better then TTYD.
I assume why Kersti says what she says after a boss is due to the way the game is programmed when a "required" thing sticker isn't used. For example, in the Megasparkle Goomba fight, the scissors wasn't used in the fight. The game only checks if that item was used in the fight, since in a blind playthrough, if you didn't use the scissors, you'd instead just toss a lot of stickers at the boss. With this assumption in mind, the dialogue is made to match it.
This is why Huey got a Spirit and not Kersti. X3
When you don’t use the railroad this game wants you to, it gets MAD.

1: Beat Decalburg
2: Get a Hammer, Jump, Mushroom, Poison Mushroom, Spike Hat, and Fire/Ice Flower to Drybake Desert
3: Bring Trumpet (Goomba Fortress) to Leaflitter Path
4&5: Get the Lightbulb (Yoshi Sphinx) into the dark room underground to get the Steering Wheel, the Scissors (Warm Fuzzy Plains) to cut the rope, and the Fishhook (Outlook point 🚪) to fight the Big Cheep Cheep

This is exactly why thing stickers are such bad game design. Most of these bosses have such intricate designs and they can be just absolutely destroyed with thing stickers.

I tjink the Snow statue things Bowser is IMPOSSIBLE because you need to break his protection to continue (you can't kill the snow man with a stupid shiny blue strong paper crown inside the 2 miles height Snow statue bowser )
