Tsukimichi was written first, and Tensura was written later, even though Tensura got animated first and Tsukimichi later, looks like some very beloved classics were left for later. SAO is a curious example of how a rookie writer got 2 animes in a row (Accel World being the first btw) but other heavily worldbuilt fantasies were left for later. Perhaps because SAO's premises and world are easier to explain in like, five minutes?

I grow nihilistically tired of Isekais at some point, but I watched this one just by mistake one day and I don't know I just liked it, it is goofy, funy, surprisingly coherent, it is a fantasy self insert like many other but it is a curious one, with a really alive world, with a lot of alive characters (all the important characters have their own stories and personalities), it is a guilty pleasure for me.

@@bunkerzero Because the world building and budget for a large project like Tsukimichi probably is harder to pass in Anime form. They aren't dumbing down the Anime aswell so I assume they have atleast 2 seasons worth of OK from the producer. I just hope Japan recognizes this one as one of the best Isekai Stories next to Mushoku Tensei and pushes it to more than 2 Seasons thanks to sales and views.
