What a cast! If Death, Love, and Robots was the reboot of 1981 Heavy Metal, then Secret Level is like the epic, multidimensional layered expanded level-up I didn't know I needed.
It's still Amazon, so I'm cautiously optimistic. It at least looks like an original chapter so they won't mess up any existing ones. Looks like he's fighting Orks too.

Honestly, I hope this show is a success. It can expose fans to games they may have never heard of, as well as maybe see some more adaptations in the future. An anthology series focusing on the many different worlds in games sounds like a great idea and who knows, it could lead to some of these getting a bigger adaptation down the line.
I'm mostly excited and concerned about the Warhammer episode. I hope to God, it is well executed, agenda free, and a good foot forward for the rest of the Warhammer/Henry Cavill deal.
They have so many of those Concord mini featurettes or whatever they call them that they poured money into but we never saw because it flopped lol. If this is them repurposing them then I guess good on them for not letting it go to waste, but c'mon lol, nobody wants to see it
