- Canadian opposition leader Pierre Poilievre sang Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" whilst criticizing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his upcoming trip to New York City amid the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) strike. Poilievre was told by Speaker Anthony Rota that, sadly, singing is not allowed in the House of Commons.

What he earned here in Ontario gave him the ability to carry home suitcases of clothes, food, appliances, toiletries... you name it, and money to provide for us and run his farm in Jamaica.
