can you ask your mate in the background if he can make a bit more noise ? I can almost hear you that's all...... By the way a fantastic explanation mate. I was recommended these by a mate but when I seen them on amazon I was thinking 'how do U use them ?' Now I get it and they look brilliant...cheers for the video and sorry about calling your mate but I had me headphones on and couldn't hear you for him banging around 😅😅😅
Hi and thanks for taking the time to comment. It depends on how bad the scribe is but generally I don’t, I use a track saw or the Milwaukee 18v table saw I have so I can mark the face and of course it cuts down so really good. 👍🏻
Hi Kev. It’s dependant on what material I’m using. When doing kitchens I will put the face down to cut panels to size but when doing scribes you need the face up to see your marks so all I do is set the track saw to about 1mm to score the face first and then go over again at full depth or if the scribe is too bad I use a jigsaw upside down or if I remember to get some a downward cutting jigsaw blade. 👍🏻
Nice work sir. So happy you shared this. We appreciate it 👍🏻
Very kind of you to say so but it really is a great jig and so easy to us. Thanks to you in return 👍🏻

What if you want the scribe to fit on the face of the carcass?
Do you use a jigsaw to cut the scribe?

The other planter, you’ve got to build it wrong so it looks right, if you know what I mean 🤔 it’s all about symmetry.
When you've marked your scribe as you showed and then proceed to use a track saw to cut them, do you keep the face side pointing upwards ?

I could of plunge saw that in 5 secs waste of time
What a waste of time. You still gave gaps down the side. You always gap your filler blades anyway
