What we do know is that we can easily remove the black lug adapter from the main watch face and we can remove the green strap from the lug adapter as well. Annoyingly the strap is actually 21mm, I was surprised to find this when I bought mine. The strap is great apart from very loose keepers (I made new ones) , I think a NATO will lift the watch too much, the lug to lug including plastic adapters is 58mm, so for most people these parts need to wrap around the wrist.
