Hello Dr. Grace... I am Dr. Seema. I completed my BAMS in 2023 and worked as an intern in a hospital for a year. Nowadays I am in UK and as a skilled worker. Can you please guide me. How do I get a job in the NHS, what do I need to do and what are the requirements and what positions can I apply for? Thank you.
Need some guidance please ! I have done graduation in biotechnology and post graduation in Microbiology and having one year experience of hospital , Now I’m here in England with my husband on dependent visa please tell me which route should I use now to get the job in NHS ?
Have you registered on NHS jobs and trac jobs. Those are the main sites of NHS recruitment.Check person specifications and apply only for the roles that are suitable for your qualifications and experience.Hope this helps.
Have you checked the NHS jobs website, it will be clearly mentioned under qualifications required.Actually I am not quite sure about the requirements and qualifications they need for that.

Hello Grace, just wondering are you a medical doctor? If you are not working in NHS as a doctor I think you can not use the title doctor. When you work in NHS and call yourself a doctor, people could misinterpret you as a medical doctor. Just be careful.
Hi Diana, I am afraid if you are aware about the recognized medical course in other countries. For example in India we have Doctors specialized in Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Homeopathy etc. They are eligible to use the title only after they graduate from their medical schools and become registered practitioners. I have a specialization in emergency medicine, Naturopathy and Chinese medicine.I have been working in India and Dubai for the past couple of years. My current job in the NHS may not be as a GP or Doctor but at the same time it doesn't mean that I am not a medically qualified person.I am completely aware about my scope of practice in the UK and I don't think there is anything wrong in keeping my title and this is just a UA-cam channel which I use as a tool to share useful information and positive vibes to people around the globe.Isn't that the need of the hour??
Thanks for sharing this info Grace, Very informative & more reliable since it's coming from a person who has gone through the process by self.
