Her voice just keeps getting better. When she was younger, her strength was in the high range of her voice. Now, without having lost that range, her low notes are also beautiful and rounded. Add to this her ability to blend her head and chest voice effortlessly - which amazingly she has always had, her ability to chuck in decoration whenever she wants, her mastery of dynamics - the first chorus is mezzoforte or forte, the second forte or fortissimo (how many pop musicians would even know to do this???) and her intonation, which is close to perfect, and where she does deviate from the note it seems to be done always for expressive purposes. Her singing perfectly treads the line between pure, natural talent and a carefully controlled, trained voice. She is clearly a sponge for knowledge of all kinds and uses this to enhance her abilities as she goes on. The same is true for her music production, her musical influences, her use of percussion and her political engagement. A free but wise and curious spirit. Truly someone to be inspired by.
