I am a Christian Othodox born and baptized. I have walked the path of Zen, Tantra, Sufi and Yoga, as well as the Taoist and esoteric Christian. I know for a fact that music creates realities. The Sufi music and whirling led me to one of my most exquisite ecstatic experiences, I will be forever in gratitude to all these music masters, Sufi and all the rest for their music.
Aramaic, Sufi, Iranian, Lebanese. The ney, the daf, kamancheh, tabla... And the Buddha in the background. Now isnt that something!! 😊🙏🏽🙏🏽
Amazing vocals!!

As a Romanian with some Armenian roots, this music speaks to my soul. Thank you
This music, these musicians are exquisite. Absolutely beautiful, the vocal, the instruments are indeed food for the soul. I bow to you all.
İ am a Muslim Syrian proudly, who love and respect my Christians Syrians..We have almost hundred of thousands of Muslims and Christians who speak Aramaic language of Christ🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾
Christ probably did not exist at all, Just a legend made up by people sick in their minds, like all those who need religion to know what they are doing. Arameic was spoken by other people too, why mention only the f*cking so called Christ ? Stop with the making of heroes or gods . In 21st century, it is a crying shame that people need to believe in those fairy tales and need to propagate them. Peace to all you, meditate , know yourself, breathe, and that's all.
Thanks for your post. I am Christian but presently not church going . Rather , from experience. I do think it’s important for people to learn what we can of the original teachings of Jesus in the Aramaic language. I am probably too old and sick to learn very much, but am starting an online class February 2021 . Best to use one’s last time learning what matters! For one’s own soul and for peace /respect of ancient cultures. Alaha bless these musicians!
God Bless 🙏 ✝️ ☪️ 🇺🇸
Thank you Medhi Arminian for making this sublime music available to all.
The music that you can listen to all day and all night for ever.. the music that can bring peace to the humanity with much love and happiness
Truth all day long.
Beautiful! As an Iran born Assyrian who speaks fluent Aramaic, I was a little disappointed that it not actually Aramaic, rather Farsi and Arabic.
Is there something disappointing about Farsi and Arabic? I could only hear beauty and sincerity.
Dear Ramiel listen to the clip all the way to the end she also sings in Aramaic.

The song at 40:00, god , I wish I could have the translation; although I do not need the translation.
Abeer Nehme's voice and skill is out of this world.
Magnificent
Wundervoll

What music ! Sweet souls you are. Thank you to let us travel with you. What the name of the Syrian song played by Mohammad Zatari and sang by Ahbeer Nehme ?
Quelle musique !
you can hear the old world sounds in this vedio
I am fifth generation Californian with no known middle eastern roots, but I can hear the “old world sounds” also in this beautiful music~ and it’s the sound in my heart too. Thanks to Alaha, Allah,Elohim for these songs and to the musicians who really hear...
I have been fascinated by the small bits of teaching I’ve read and heard about the Aramaic language and am signing up for a course online starting soon. How fortunate and humbled I feel that not having been raised in these ancient cultures, now people are given the opportunity to be taught and be deeply touched ...may Roots Revival and other such projects help bring peace and understanding before it’s too late.
Forgive me for the long reply!
the ultimate pain in my soul....

I tottaly agre with you I'm a classical guitar player from Spanish origin and I have studied this peace from the age of 12 IM SO SHOCKED THAT PEOPLE CAN DO THIS A WELL KNOWN PEACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD PACODE LUCIA AND OTHERS PERFORMED THID PEACE AND THEN CALL IT ARAMAIC/SUFI ITS A JOKE AND A BIG FAT LIY
What is the song that Abeer Nehme starts singing around 23 minutes in? It starts with "Fi Beirut" -- I know I've heard the tune before, but not with those lyrics. It's gorgeous, and she sings it beautifully!
it was made famous by Fairuz, famous Lebanese singer and it's called Li Beirut
@@bcatranis The music is the second movement of the "Concierto de Aranjuez", by Joaquin Rodrigo, a (wonderful) conert for guitar and orchestra.
please write their poems
❤️❤️
42 - 45 min solo - !
Please, someone can say me how is called this instrument like flute? Thanks!
That's Persian "Ney"
And Ney in Persian means Bamboo.
very similar to flamenco
❤️❤❤❤❤❤❤
💖
Most of this music is Arabian peninsula and Arab Levantine culture alongside Persian one! Only few parts are Aramaic... The lyrics and melody are very obvious in this aspect!
Yes you are absolutely right!
It is regrettable to ignore or omit the fact that the concert is mostly classical arabic singing by a highly qualified lebanese performer and musicians, with special guests from iran India and France... an exquisite tribute!!!!
That is because not much is left of the Aramaeic culture today, and whatever we have - i.e. the Syriac - has had to endure and survive 14 centuries of Islamic, Arab and Ottoman invasions and domination, to this very day.
However, we are being reborn in the fire, from the ashes, like the legendary Phenix. More and more of our heritage is being rediscovered. Of course, this will take a lot of time and effort, may be a few generations, but will eventually happen.
We are one of the oldest, most fruitful, and least destructive or aggressive civilizations on the planet. The only empire - large as it was - that happened without a single soldier or any invasion of foreign nations.
I Disagree on several points.
There was not much from Arabian Peninsula, in fact none. I see mostly from Iran and Levant, Syria Lebanon and Iraq.
The Aramaic culture is not destroyed . Who says that?
The Aramaic Culture is all around us from Iran, All the way to Greece plus Armenia and Georgia ( Gorjesta'n).
West Asia inherited all Aramaic culture.
This is one grand performance by all and specially Ms. Abeer Nehme.
Million thanks to all those making this possible.
Greetings from California, Iranian diaspora.
Dear Canaan, Levantine is Aramaic ,
I do not see much from Peninsula. Peninsula does not have much of its own music.
What is the name of the spanish song being song around the 23rd minute?
It's the music of the second movement of the "Concierto de Aranjuez" by Joaquin Rodrigo, a Spanish composer, a concerto for guitar and orchestra.
