A bitter sweet presentation, I was hoping piezo actuators could be a good fit for normal size robotics but it isn't (as the current form of this tech at least).
Same here. I was doing some reading to see if it would be possible to create muscle bellies using fibres of piezoelectric material but discovered the contractions would be negligible and not enough to flex an elbow.
