That's a great name for it. Bit past my heyday now but used to do "open gullet" consistently. I feel like this art form has been lost on the younger generations😂, most drinking challenges online make me cringe these days 🤦♀️. I have trouble explaining to people that it's not bragging when I say I can drink this quick, in fact it's as easy as breathing when you relax and let the beer 🍺🍻 flow. I first realised this was possible watching my relative knock 4 beers down in under a second with a beer bong and seeing how swallowing was actually what holds you back
@@tom.c4062 spot on mate. First time I seen it done 1 of the apprentices challenged the boss to scull a scooner of beer for fun and I jumped up and said No mate, you don't get to challenge the boss without putting something on the table. The apprentice said ok what $10 and I said no.. if you beat the boss you get a paid day off but if the boss wins you do a days work for free. The boss loved the idea and the apprentice being young and cocky was up for it. They lifted their glasses. The boss opened his gullet and with in the blink of an eye he was done and the glass was on the table. It was the funniest thing, we were at a function so everyone was there and everyone pissed themselves laughing. The apprentice asked the boss how the fk did you do that and the boss said that's called the open gullet mate. That's where I learned the name from. I turned to the apprentice and said I hope you learned a lesson mate, never challenge the boss 😆
I’d really love to win the 100 bro just had to get my alternator done and belts service and pink slip have to rego it this week would take some stress away haha anyway if not keep doing what your doing legend loving it
Dricus can do the open gullet, you'll never beat him, unless you can learn to do the open gullet.
