Sometimes they use stock sound effects. For example, the thunder crashing was by a company called "The Hollywood Edge". There is another called "Sound Ideas", which is another sound big company. Also, thanks for the shoutout!
it's from the korg M1 synthesizer, which had a drumkit which had the original "whoosh" sound. the korg m1 was very popular with game musicians at the time.
The " Nom Nom Nom " sound effect is coming from a song released in 2009 by Parry Grip : ua-cam.com/video/SMWi7CLoZ2Q/v-deo.html . Fun fact : Parry Grip is also created the song ""It's raining tacos"
I love how things that most people don’t care about are taken seriously by this absolutely awesome content creator known as toastedcherries. I love your content man, It answers a lot of my questions.

So I'm all caught up on your Roblox history-type videos now and I just wanna say, you've gained a new subscriber. I really like your content, dude, keep it up! It's fascinating as someone who's only been playing Roblox for not quite two years to learn about all this stuff.
Very good.series, as someone who want to know alot about old Roblox this was very entertaining for me. I iften refer some of your videos in my discord server. I really like your content, thank you toastedcherries.
This was such an informative video, it's underrated. Good job, you earned a sub. You also forgot the sound effect of the "numnumnum" and the "cheezburger" and other sound effects.
The paint bucket splat sound is "Splattt.mp3" by SlykMrByches on freesound, and the raig table scream is "Male voice screaming loudly" by Dinsfire on freesound
but there is some... questionable ones. for example, there is this item called "subspace space mine" so if you plant the bomb and somebody touches it, there is a scream, possibly tying to the space theme.
You should try to find the disco potion sounds, it kinda sounds like a slowed down version of the first two notes of Love Foolosophy by Jamiroquai, and remove the little intermission between the 2 notes
You should do the earlier gunshot sound effects. Cus the history behind them is rather interesting. To keep things simple: The sounds were originally uploaded by clockwork (and most likely conix) for their game "Kiseki CTF". A majority of those sound effects, however, came from a game called "Soldat". While I don't know if they sampled some early sound effect library, clockwork most definitely got it from that game.
i'm pretty sure haddaway used a vocal sample from a zero-g cd for "what is love?" (the female vocal between the end of the chorus and the start of the verse)
I love playing Roblox. It’s just iconic. The sounds, the games, the avatars, the items, everything. If the Roblox horror is used properly, it can be really creepy.
you NEED to find the origin of that one sound that sounds like stone being dragged across the ground(it's used in many games to tell the player that something happened(like some door opening)), it's the scariest shit i've ever fucking heard, and even if it's not scary, it's atleast uncanny, and I really wanna know where it came from
not sure if this is worth mentioning in a future video or not but the old teddy bloxpin sound effects were actually made with microsoft sam and sped up by 1.3
So I ain't that old in roblox but I appreciate the original sounds from roblox...feels so historical and well amazing to find most of the very originals
i remember me and 5 other people standing at the tip of the titanic, nearly submerged fully in the water, we all stood there watching the sunrise. i took out my bloxy cola and sipped
Fun Fact: The bloxy cola sounds all come from morgantj. He said that “That is me opening up a can- crisp and clean!” in the sound description. Same goes for the drinking.
Toasted, if you ever make another sequel, could you include the thunder sound from those old storm skybox models that usually came with roblox horror music
next video find out which soda the man was drinking to make the bloxy cola mp3
if i can get in contact with them i will actually ask

True
The Hollywood Edge sounds are also used in some early Daft Punk songs, such as busy sidewalk being used at the start of Da Funk.
Many productions use those stock Hollywood sounds
@@TheSultan1470
I use Hollywood Edge heavily
@DinoHatMan
Hello! 😁
I used to think the man yelling "PIZZA!" was DanTDM

who knows it could have been him before UA-cam lol

*hears pizza sound* "Dude thats Daniel Diamond Minecraft!"
hearing roblox sounds in high quality sound is something i would never expect ever
We live in a new age where we can listen to sounds in high uncompressed quality
same here, listening to that Pizza and Bloxy cola sound in high quality made go "holy shit"
Damn near all the OG sounds are just stock sound effects 😂
Lol
Makes sense. Roblox was a web-based passion project made by a couple of nerds after all, they had no budget
adds a charm
College art lol
2:53 i would spam this gear a lot in the make a cake game back then to annoy people

it's from the korg M1 synthesizer, which had a drumkit which had the original "whoosh" sound.

can you find the origin about that sound that plays when you swing the sword a few times and you hover a little bit? I'm very curious about that one

2:53 it sounds like what Barney Calhoun would say to his best friend Gordon Freeman.
The Roblox horror song originally comes from half-life-2 distorted radio sounds but reversed and Roblox edited it a little bit.
The gear "dance potion" uses the GarageBand sample "Techno Bass 01", idk what the other sounds are.
