As a refreshing twist, they should actually have Ned with Nancy in an adventure. If they don't want him at her side the entire time, maybe the two of them finally get to go on a vacation together, somebody tries to kill her, and Ned gets hurt saving her. He's in the hospital and she's out to solve the crime of who hurt Ned and wanted her dead. With him fighting for his life, she'd be facing a new personal challenge. But keeping it carefully written for younger gamers. That was off the top of my head, just to give Ned more presence in her life (and the game) and giving new depth to both characters.

Thanks for posting! Not your fault, But Nancy Drew games have seemed to have lost a lot of their charm. Don't get me wrong I like the new actress, but they lowered the stakes for her. Nancy Drew doesn't even get in trouble for snooping anymore or Second chances.
Agree overall, the same charm isn’t there anymore. But Nancy can get in trouble for snooping in Adela’s bag and a lot of second chances in this game (in the underground area especially).
won't spoil it for you but she does get caught from snooping AND there are second chances. also yeah, the charm has now lost but they still managed to release a new game after MID. It's not gonna be the same as all of the other 32 games they've done in the past but they took a lot of criticisms and considerations from the community ever since they start developing KEY, so I bet if they make more games in the future, it's gonna get better than this.
They need to bring back Lani Minella to voice act... no hate to this voice actress but she doesn't fit as Nancy. It sounds more like her voice would be suited as an AI assistant or in a commercial to sell old people things.
i agree that the new nancy drew doesnt sound authentic at all, but lani sounds old now and cant help it. what they need is to hire a better voice directing specialist and help the current voice actress improve her nancy drew voice
Thank you for the play through. After watching this I am sad to say I feel no desire to play this game. I will treasure the first 32 games, but I don’t think the new ND games will be for me. 😞
This walkthrough is the only reason I made it through this game. I've been playing these games for years, and I'll acknowledge that I need the occasional hint here and there for the puzzles. I'd say I usually need a hint 15% of the game. But I swear with this game, so much of what you were supposed to do was not intuitive that I was using hints left and right down to "Where on this screen am I supposed to click on to do this?. I was ready to throw my computer I was so frustrated at it
Has anyone noticed how the story line is semi like Phantom of Venice (examples: Stolen jewels to be found + the person who looks at the jewels had a fishy past...)???
They are all written by the same company so there are bound to be similarities between some of the stories. Also, there are only so many crimes that are available for Nancy to solve. She has done about 34 I think.
@@therealyogibear2k225 No this game was done by a WHOLE NEW team they FIRED everyone while Salem was being made...and you can always come up with new stuff or redo the old ones like they have with a few
Nancy sounds so robotic it's such a shame. And the campaign. Not even 4 hours? I'm glad I didn't go through the whole downloading and installation process. That's why we have UA-camrs. Thank you.
I like the graphics in the older Nancy Drew Games, like Captive Curse and Shadow At The Waters Edge were spot on!!!! I've lost interest in these new Nancy Drew games.
I think I know a way that Nancy drew can make a come back. The devs who make the Nancy drew makes can team up with supermassive games the people responsible for until dawn and other good decision based games. They could implement that mechanic into her games and also keep the part where you can freerome and find clues and other things
When you can go into the puppeteer wagon, you can also go to the puppet stage and look at the king Rudolf puppet foot. That's where the mark is with the coat of arms. Also, there is a residente pin on Mareks desk. It's by the old man poster. I think it's one of the things required for the final necklace ending, because I only got that ending when I saw both frame and pin.
I really despise how they have incorporated the tutorial into the game. I wish they knew what they were doing. They have fans who have played these for years…put the tutorial on the menu and let ppl PLAY!!!!
help! i'm trying to locate adela when she texts nancy and i dont see her yet. and i cant find the dean...or leo! something tells me he's been kidnapped

I guess if you don’t use hints and try to get all the achievements, then 20+ hrs sounds about right😊
