@Dubba-Oh-Sebin Sebin you think Biden started this war? Oh lord. Russia has literally been trying to take over Europe since the fall of the USSR. Please get educated!
Kyiv is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. Our friends couldn't really understand why we would travel there. But I loved it and would come back any time. Kind people and great food. Glory to Ukraine. Greetings from Germany
Watching this brought tears to my eyes.. that deep, very deep, underground train station, now filled with fears, that independence square symbolising the high price of independence!... Pray for Ukraine!
I agree. It is heartbreaking seeing this because now we know the losses that have transpired in Ukraine and how this ongoing battle affects the very people that live there. Knowing the subways, sheltered, so many innocent victims. Remembering videos of those sheltering singing Ukrainian national anthem. Knowing how prideful the Ukrainian people are and the astounding strengths that these people have… it is very humbling

I had to rewatch this as I know Kara and Nate bring out the best every destination has to offer. I am praying that the conflict ends soon and that diplomacy will win.
Thank you so much for recommending "Winter on Fire". I watched it last night, and was blown away by the Ukrainians my age that fought to keep their country free. I remember hearing about the protests and fighting in Ukraine, but remembered most of it having to do with Russia's invasion of Crimea. Yeap. Sad thing that Russia hit us when we wasn’t ready. We had a revolution to get rid of bustards being in our government. And in that moment Russia decided that it’s good time to bring their military forces to our country to take over few regions
And our revolution of dignity did not end in the winter of 2014. That was just the beginning. Following the outbreak of war with russia, which continues to this day. Yesterday, October 14, we celebrated the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Now, today, in the east of Ukraine there is a war, a war for our honor, freedom and dignity. This war has been going on for five long years and cost thousands of lives of our soldiers who continued the work of the "Heavenly Hundred" - civilians who died on the Maidan in the winter of 2014. Our soldiers are fighting today, dying and pouring blood under the national yellow-blue flag. "Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!" - this is a military greeting to our Warriors. Our gratitude to the defenders of Ukraine!
