Watching this review makes me wish that I had bought all the others, especially for only $12.99. Unfortunately I only bought snake eyes. These are really good for the price and the size.
The fact these are a success and have sold well enough to give us *new moulds* is great! Well, even though they're American exclusive. I'm so damn happy they *FINALLY* put thigh swivels on Joes. The green bazooka is a nice touch for the Trooper, too. BTW, the top of the knee being 'pinless' on the 25th anniversary figures is because there wasn't a separate pin on the top in the first place, the knee was connected on the top via a peg sandwiched between the two screwed together thigh pieces. :P
These figures look sweet and the articulation is killer for this scale. I need to track these down especially Stalker. I know some of the 50th anniversary figures had ankle pivot, but they were inconsistent which was annoying.
I managed to get 6 retro collection cobra troopers, got my first three during Black Friday 2021 and my second three this today 12-29-2021. But unfortunately, there’s too many sgt stalkers.
Awesome review I just got my 3rd cobra trooper & shriek in from target & tomorrow I should be getting jazzwares charizard & a 4th cobra trooper im probably stopping at 4
These are more or less reissues of the 25th/30th line but with slight modifications and less paint. Some of the figures around the Pursuit of cobra/retaliation timeframe of those had the hinged wrists. I think the first one to have that articulation was the sdcc sergeant slaughter? Jeez it doesn't feel like 11 years have passed since then. I know my retaliation ultimate cobra commander I bought used years ago had the same articulation as these. Not so sure if any other figures before these ones had the pinless legs until now, though.

Oooh. That makes sense.
better articulation than some bigger figures

I had no idea some of the retro figures had JOYTOY articulation. It's weird it's like somebody asked for that.
I did

Do you think they will expand these beyond Walmart exclusive?
Seems like no
Roadblock is not the 25th anniversary body. Maybe the 50th. Maybe. The old Cobra troopers/officers helmets came off, too.
Close enough
Good review bro
Thanks
That is a Sniper Riffle.
I realize that while editing but...
