Anyone that has hard water is going to need to use a vinegar and water solution to get remove the minerals that will collect in the bottom of the humidifier where the water sits. Pour a 50/50 solution into the bottom and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Then use an old toothbrush or a small scrub brush to brush away the loosened mineral deposits.
You may have to do this every three month depending upon how hard your water is. Otherwise the mineral deposits will interfere with how well your humidifier can produce that flow of humidity.
Some people find that they have to use distilled water or they get a powdery covering all over their furniture.
Or you could just use Distilled water as EVERY humidifier recommends because all the crap in most tap water isn't something you want to be breathing in just like drinking.
Mine is blowing the mist down and before that leaking
So if you’re seeing this by any chance I got the same humidifier about I don’t know a week and three days ago so now the problem is is that the mist is not going up it’s coming down any answer to this ?
