    Thanks for spending your Wednesday with us. As you know we LOVE to get away from the really touristy parts and get to know the real local life. What do you prefer the touristy spots or those places less visited - let us know - Sending big hugs - Chris & Marianne xx

    • @Bulletguy07

      The less touristy parts are more interesting as they reflect reality. Vlogger Bald and Bankrupt is brilliant for that......visits St Petersburg and ends up down some back streets at a massive Flea Market selling Russian stuff! He always goes "off piste" whichever country he's in. The inside of the houses were interesting and their connection to Russia and as for that cheese shop, I could have spent a fortune in there!!

    • @pattyd3205
      @pattyd3205 2 роки тому +1

      Definitely the less touristy spots for us! We love getting involved with the Locals, visiting their homes, sharing different Local Dishes with them. Best way to learn about the "real" Turkey, Turkish Culture and People.

    Was reading about the Castle of Kars and it was destroyed twice and rebuilt. The second time it was rebuilt it said new elements were added so maybe that drainage system came later. Turkey is so filled with rich culture and architecture, so happy to be touring it with you. Looking forward to being near the Armenian border next.
