I am on my 2nd DF64V and now have the “new” version which has the clicking noise. I returned the first order as I was having issues getting the zero point adjusted and now dealing with this issue. Working with Luke over at MiiCoffee for a solution. Since I don’t have the original packaging they hitting me with a 15% restocking fee. I already had to pay to return the first one so after I return this I’m going to be down $120 dollars without a grinder. So bummed.
Hello - I just received my df64v and it has this clicking noise issue when powered on idling. Is there any harm to the machine if left unfixed? Thank you
Does your current stock have the fixed probe already installed? For a product this expensive, this issue should really be resolved prior to shipping. Thanks!
No, the current batch doesn't have the fix. Notice not all the grinders have this issue. Only a small portion of grinders have clicking noise. If you buy it from our website we can install it before shipping it out.

No, it's fine to ignore it.
Mine will not click back in place. All the wires are out of the way but it will not snap in place.
It's a tight fit. You can use a file and thin the edge a bit.

@@miicoffeeI just did, thank you! Is this going to void the warranty or the return window? Thanks for the clarification.
