Heli direct made a good choice bringing you on to do build videos Jeff. You’ve made my builds less painful by showing gotchas before I get gotten. 😂 maybe you can rename your channel “Direct West Heli Hobby”. 😊
These are identical videos to the old Finlss Bob videos on Helifreak. I’m glad someone has continued the tradition and help. His videos made me a successful heli pilot and builder! Good job!
Im almost through part 1 of this video and am blown away by tbe quality and simplicity of this kit. I am comparing this to my Trex 250 DFC and Trex 450L kits. I always thought Align was good quality but this vastly superior. To be fair my kits were from the 2013-2014 era. So this is 10 year newer tech but it is radically better and SIMPLER! WOW I really want one of these and will be very happy building it.
Hi nice build .Do you know where i can get manual one building not not like manual i do load from goosky for rs4 venom doing build my your video only i hard of hearing and trying do it
5:10 Jeff I am building my RS4 Venom now. I just built the head and it all is according to the manual and how you did it here but when I rotate each blade grip there is some resistance there. It is smooth, no grittiness, but there is resistance. Not nearly as buttery smooth as my 470L was. Is this normal? If not what should I do?
Jeff if you could choose between the RS4 and the S2 which would you pick? I've already pre order the S1. Will use that to learn moves in my yard and parts are cheap. I love the fact that the RS4 has a collective pitch tail rotor that is ran off the main motor like my Align Trex 250 and 450 kits. However I also love the fact that the S2 is much cheaper and the parts are much cheaper.
What exact arms did u get for your servos? I have the BLS0808 and they have the same arms as yours CL0508s that come with the servos which are not the right length 12.4 or 12.5mm...
Goosky RS4 is a very stable flying machine, but the design has some problems. the tail belt can't be replaced easily, need to disassemble quite a bit to replace tail belt. also, 2 of the servos require quite a bit of disassebly to replace, because of the location of servo cable.
I can't get over how impressive that motor is. Direct drive beast.
What a nice surprise. First looked to see if Jeff did a build video. Didn't see one on his channel but found this one instead!

I’m glad you find the videos helpful and easy to follow! That’s a great name! That’s an idea!
Thank you! You will love the venom build!

Can you build it add servos later?
Which electric screwdriver are you using with the servos?
Please share what micro drill tool you are using in this video. Looks extremely handy.

Hi Jeff, what would be the easiest way to change tail belt? (after crash :( )
Can u list the size of the hex drivers and what grease u are using plz?

No, there is no flybarless module in the kit.
cuantos KV tiene ese motor,,
I just get my hands on the venom.
I am facing problems with the head. It feels gritty when I rotate them.
Does anyone encounter this same issues?
