In 2.9 mirror matchups, the player who has xbow in hand first always wins. And lemontree isn't the best 2.9 player, there are a ton better than him...

When people say this match is brain dead, think again. Very high level mirror match, lots of interesting placements
keiharris332 Only salty mid latter players would say that. X-Bow mirror is one of the most complicated and technical mirror matches in the game.
As a X-Bow player, I find quite interesting these mirror matchups.
According to my CR "experience" I feel that if you are more aggressive you have the small micro elixirs leads that will lead you to the victory - like lemontree did.
Once he found it was xbow he instantly X-bow + Tesla to melt asap mike's troops [Ice Golem-Skel-Archers] which are low hp units (compared to some cheap elixir troops like Knight - Valkyrie etc that can stall better xbow)

Basically if you play x bow and mirror matchup try to be aggressive as fuck, if you setup the rythm of the game u will eventually win unless u make stupid mistakes. ^^

In an Xbow mirror matchup, the one that plays Xbow first wins
correct. but whoever has xbow in hand FIRST ALWAYS WINS
and in a mirror matchup whoever has more elixir wins as they can get more xbow down. in a mirror matchup wasting 1 elixir will cost u as it means ur opponent will get xbow down sooner than you will. and in a mirror whoever plays more offensive xbow wins. lets say I get first xbow down I will get damage and the opponent has to waste more damage to kill it. I will already be able to xbow again and the opponent will be playing catchup for the rest of the game. if the opponent is smart and he realises he is down a lot of damage he should ignore my offensive xbow and go for an offensive xbow and go for the tower trade. I do that move a lot if I am down otherwise I will get grinded out eventually. I am a 20 win and 7.2k cycle player. I only picked 2.9 up for the last 3 months but as I have been playing cycle decks for like 2 years + I easily get the hang of it

Those Teslas were a good play because he would’ve had to cycle four elixir regardless
@@windsornguyen But it's not the same, wasting 4 elixir in 1 card (you have to cycle 4 cards to get back to xbow) than using 4 elixir to cycle 3 cards (skeletons, icespirit, icegolem/log)

@@windsornguyen No it's not.. if you see those teslas were useless, he just cycled 1 card for 4 elixir, and still had to cycle other 3 cards to get back to xbow, say skeletons, spirit and log, they're all worth 4 elixir so it would be 8 elixir to get back to xbow. If you only cycle the cheap cards, (ice spirit, ice golem, skeletons and log) it's 6 elixir. Elixir makes a difference in mirror matchups
