DR.JOHN THE BEST!
Not really. A paradiddle-diddle is RLRRLL or LRLLRR. And all the notes are equal in length. A 6 stroke roll is RLLRRL or LRRLLR and the first and last notes are twice as long as the four middle notes. However, you can "slur" the rhythm and make them equal. When you do that, you are basically playing a paradiddle-diddle with the second note of the rudiment on the down beat. Wow, I just made that more complicated than it needed to be.
thx. Wow, the real wooton replied, I'm honored. But its gr8, it just shows the possibilities of variations with even the smallest adjustments.
Awesome, you are a great drum teacher

Not quite getting the paradiddle at the end of the third six stroke roll for the exercise to switch from right to left. Can you write
it out? Thank you.
Brian, I can't write it out here. It is just three 6 stroke rolls and then one paradiddle which brings you to left hand.
That would be awesome. Thank you!
Now, that was FUNKY......
If you set the playback speed at 0.5 he's going to sound like he was drunk.
