Damn I remember when I to get up near 300lbs around 297 actually could never break the dang 3's and I would sweat just standing up. Totally awful feeling not to mention embarrassing as well and going to the movies with my lady, forget about it. Not a good feeling being that huge. Ya get lots of attention though. We were traveling and working the event all weekend. This was just a mellow workout to try new equipment, relax… we also took every working set to failure. Not sure what demonstrates intensity to you? Max effort sets of 10-12 reps to failure lol. Should I be yelling? Would that make it “intense” for you?
