It was satisfying af when I completed it. I hope they add more stages in the remake would love to unlock more items, weapons and costumes via Mercenaries.
One interesting topic you could tackle the next time is if there's a damage multiplier for body shots (head, arms, legs, etc) like in RE5, or if every shot always deals the same damage no matter where it lands.
For RE4, headshots deal more damage (along with having the critical chance) while the rest of the body is the same, regardless of arms, legs or torso. Boss enemies do not have the headshot bonus in Mercenaries, as that was something I did check for when making this video.
This was a cool guide! I didn't know about the damage cap mechanic on some of the enemies. I've always assumed it was certain weapons dealing bonus damage rather than stronger ones dealing less.
Wow this one really helps, thanks for the effort mate. I never thought about it this way,but this was a big help for me as an old player of this magnificent game, and thanks again it was fun watching this video, so KEEP IT UP. :)
I think I've posted a reply here about a week ago but it's gone, not sure what happened. Every enemy in the game has a more accurate HP value. Some trainer features can directly show enemy HP, such as the trainer in RE4 Tweaks. Using firepower to measure HP is a good way, very easy to understand, but the values you gave are only roughly correct, not accurate. It's still enough for most players though. To be exact, for example in Mercs each Bella has 6500 HP, and their damage taken per hit is capped at 1000 (6.67 firepower). They take 150 damage from every point of firepower, just like the villager ganados. TMP does 0.7x damage to Bellas and 1.4x damage to villagers so better don't use TMP to measure enemy HP. Most enemies take 1.2x damage with headshots, and 10x if it was a crit hit (if it was a rifle headshot then 5x). I think I posted a link of an in-depth RE4 mechanics guide here, that probably is why it god deleted?
Yes, UA-cam probably deleted it due to sharing the link. And again, I return to my earlier point about making this information easy to understand for players of all skill levels.

Interesting video! Thank you for the analysis! What's the damage output on frag/ fire/ flash(?) grenades? If Flash grenades do 0 damage, how is it they take out birds?
For birds and plagas, flash grenades have a unique critical hit rate property of 100%. Frag grenades deal approximately 10 damage (to Ganado enemies) while fire grenades deal 6.6 damage in total, however they deal 3.4 damage initially, and then the burning animation is the other 3.2.
