On an evil playthrough, I ignored Valdr's need of healing. When I came back from the cave, he was laying dead. Now the quest line (heal Valdr of his injuries) is stuck forever in my journal, punishing me for having been such a terrible person.
What if you make him a thrall and then heal him?

@@caucasoidape8838 idk if it would work to complete, since thralls can’t talk, but due to a weird glitch I made it work on the guy that takes you to the ambush with the bandit guards (cannot remember the name)
I like how if you been to Morvunskar before for the "A Night to Remember" quest and get the sanguine rose, Sanguine can be found in the big hall where the portal was, fighting the necromancers that respawn there.

Borvirs Dagger at Journeymans Nook is Elven not Dwarven in base game. I don't know if unoficial patch changes the metal type. Being elven slightly increases utility until midgame.
It’s still Elven.
As I recall it also is heavier and has lower base damage than a regular elven dagger
Woulden't suprice me if the Patch changed it, it do strange things a lot of times
Haven't done this my self but this is how i understand it.
Valdr's Daggers Luck effect effects all your equiped weapon. Mayrhuns Razors Insta kill procs on Critical Hits, wealding both (Valdr's in left, Razor in Right) gives Mayrunes Razor a 25% chance of Insta killing the Victim
Blade of woe? Mehrunes razor? Hekhanets fang?

I think it's just a radial location for Kahvostein's fang. I had it stuck in my inventory for a considerable amount of time before i went to Forelhost. I really enjoyed watching the video
Kahvozein's Fang's location is radiant and obtaining it isn't tied to the quest. In my current playthrough I randomly stumbled onto it in the cave in the same complex as Labyrinthian and can't drop it because it's a quest item, lol
If you purchase Vlindrel Hall in Markarth and all the furnishings, you can put it in a dagger display case even though it's a quest item
Dis agree, i allways seem to find the dagger and i have never done that quest
@@theprinceofawesomeness that's not what I was talking about though. Radiant location means it randomly generates in different places in every playthrough. When and on what conditions it generates is a different question entirely

Top of waterfall next to Hags End you can find enchanted boots Predators Grace
I saw those in the cheat room I wasn't sure where they came from and thank you for the comment. I'll go check it out.
@@JesseJamison-f6i there is an expert lock chest there and I think a quicksilver vein. Whirlwind sprint from the platform where you fight the last hagraven is the easiest way to get there. But it is possible to climb as well.

A couple of small corrections.
Enthir in the College of Winterhold is a Bosmer not a high elf as said.
also...
Kahvozein's Fang must be wielded in the right hand in order to collect heartscales. and needs to be wielded while killing the dragons.
Otherwise all is good.

If you talk to Enthir about the falmer during the thieves guild quest line he claims to be an Altmer despite him being a Bosmer.
I hate to say it but base damage doesn't really matter once you get maxed out on smithing and you have the ability arcane blacksmith. If you have a few additional enchantments that fortify your smithing skills you can pretty much get the overall damage up to 600 or higher...
Borvir's dagger is elven not dwarven man.

Keening also gets enhanced when Wraithguard is equipped.
1:20 Valdr's dagger has special crit stat dealing 5 damage, so, it's 10 damage on crit, not 7.5. But that's still miniscule, yeah.
Don't know who thought it was a good idea to calculate crits from the base damage, making one- and two-handed sword perks useless
Not useless just not as useful as most people seem to want...
@@jamestaylor3805 you can get the third level of perk only on 90th lvl of skill... For example, daedric sword with maxxed out first perk at this point would deal 14*2*(1+90/200)=40,6, while damage gained from all THREE levels would be 14*0,5*1,25*1,5*0,2=2,625 which is just +6% boost. 6% for 3 perk points... Any improvement of the sword or enchantments would decrease its usefulness even lower.
@@vasilyd8578 3% is not useless. It is a 3% increase in damage. Lets take 3% of you annual pay and see if it feels like nothing.
@@jamestaylor3805 the thing is in that I can take these 3 perk points and invest them in smithing, alchemy, magic or whatever and get much more damage. And only after all of that I'd think about these additional 2,625 damage points, but at that point I'd already one-hit the most of the enemies.
@@vasilyd8578 there is no limit to the available skill points and with Unrelenting Storm you can power level Destruction to 100 in a couple seconds. Your gripes are pointless and childish.
Keening and Khazovien's fang can both be found randomly. also, I've found Keening more often than not in Darkfall passage.
7:55 according to wiki it's a random location but for me it has always been in Forelhost without ever starting the quest so idk
1:21 what armor mod did u use? the hide armor looks good
I use Armor Variants Expansion :)
Keening will be in a random dungeon it's not always the same
