That was a flocking lot of ducks. Just love the mounted Eurasian Wigeon. On our local marsh we get up to 16000 of these every year; where the morning flights can get hetic as they lift with a sound of a express train, and come past at at least 60miles an hour. Twenty years ago I kept a wing tipped one, and had him as a pet for 11years. I think that 'mallard' is crossed with a gadwall as they will mount anything! During breading season. Keep up the great videos to keep me jealous as we just shoot pigeons, crows and squirrels at the moment. We are now up to 900 pigeons 500 crows and 120 squigs.

Happy Thanksgiving I really enjoy all the videos that you and Sam produce. They show the passion and pride in the outdoors. The waterfowl hunting are my favorite though but also enjoy the fishing ones as well. Have you ever hunted the partridge species you have there? I would love to see that hunt.

It looks like it could be a mallard x domestic, possibly with a buff Orpington. The Orpington have a couple different color variations and some of them are similar to this.

Gave up on MoJo.
I now run for past 3 seasons lucky Duck spinner mallards and teal and use spitter butts. All synchronized perfect on remote. No issues so far. Spitter butt decoys take 1.5 hours to charge. Spinners 1 hour. No issues.

Mallard/Canada goose. It is noticeably larger than regular mallards and it has no brown and mostly gray similar to a Canadian.

Talked 2 a biologist 1 time about ur hen withers drake head. I shot 1 one time. He said it's a hen that's so old she is losing her 1 chromosome that keeps her a hen and is taking on drake characteristics. Should have had mine mounted. Kind of like a bearded hen turkey.

But Campbells are substantially smaller than mallards tho. And even then 90%+ of domestic ducks can't fly. I have several K-C ducks and they can't get 10ft of the ground. I actually have 20 domestic ducks of various breeds and none can get over my head without 40mph wind

I haven't been out in over 10yrs. And in would love to get back out hunting. I miss it so much I love in Minnesota. Would love to hunt with ya guys or anyone that would like to go out. I tend to have bad luck with my fishing and hunting stuff cause it disappears. My gun disappeared 12 yrs ago. Someone took it or sold it on me then my hunting bibs disappeared few yrs ago someone just threw out my fish house I bought 2 yrs ago and I know who that was but I don't think there gonna replace it like they should . My fishing stuff just gets thrown around in the garage. And just cause they don't fish they just throw it but if it's there stuff oh they will complain. Sorry for mumbling on but it pisses me off thinking about it. That's a nice mallard /? To bad ya couldn't get the DNA on the bird find out exactly what it is. I wouldn't mount it as well
