The title says public land then in the intro, you said you got permission for the field 😂

That’s basically public… anyone can do it

      Agreed, Title is clickbait BS

All land in North Dakota is open to hunt if it’s not posted. All he did was ask first to be respectful.

I'm just giving him a hard time for not matching the intro to title I could really care less weather they had to ask permission or not

When the birds are flairing, definitely double check your hide and making sure every one is down and hidden and especially not moving. A decoy move could also be in order changing the style from a U, to a J hook, to a split, etc. And if all that was tidy, from the looks of it, I would recommend trying to keep calling the birds all the way down into the set. Looked like some didn't like you going quiet when they got closer. Also, have someone clucking on a goose call while others are on duck calls to be as natural sounding/looking considering all you had for duck decoys was spinners. Try some of those things and it might work well for you. Love your vids. Keep up the great work 🤙

New to the 20 gauge scene, I have always used a 12 gauge. I was curious what loads you guys prefer for ducks? Brand, shot size, all of that and what choke tube restriction you guys prefer. Thanks! Love the videos!

Just watched Luke shooting in the snow and then cooking them. M! M! You could do with that food while shooting in the snow. Once again just lovely to watch those birds dropping in-can never get tired of that.

With the sbe 3 20 or 12 you have to float the bird above the bead. Typically they shoot high and left at least mine does. The raised rib also if your used to a flat rib takes getting used to.

I just bought a sbe3 yesterday and taking it out tonight. I plan on doing some patterning. A little concerned about all this shoots high stuff. I'm so used to my 870 with bead right on.

I had a SBE 3 a few years back that I sold after half a fall. Bottom of the pattern shot 18 inches above point of aim at 20 yards. It was even worse at 40 yards. After shooting a 50/50 gun my whole life this adjustment was a major problem. One shouldn’t have to think that much when wingshooting.

    Good job guys
Easy hunting compared to ducks in California. By the time they get here they speak fluent duck call and fly the other way. You guys rocked it.

Been hunting sxs 20ga since 2008 l have never felt under gunned . 4# steel for ducks and 2# steel for geese. Switched to #4 boss 1-1/8oz 2 seasons ago never buying steel again . Started hunting with a 28ga more and I'm starting to leave the 20ga at home. The 28ga is loaded with a bismuth tss duplex of *#tss and 3.5# bis 170 pellets and is great on small ducks to large geese out to 50 yards on ducks and at least 60 on geese.

Maybe just maybe putting a couple duck decoys in the geese as well would help finish birds. Better then just spinners….
