Exactly how I found out my ex fiancé was cheating on me. She started acting weird & I stumbled on her diary giving me a full breakdown of her misdeeds. No one died, but the mental & emotional anguish they faced was no joke. I didn’t want to jeopardize my future so no physical contact was made, but they felt major pain. She still feels it all of these years later.

Congratulations to this woman. She destroyed everything about her, her future family, her husband's love, made him a murderer, a fugitive who will have to escape forever. Women who cheat always think they are smart and can hide the betrayal, convinced that they are smarter than everyone, without realizing how selfish they are. She will live her entire miserable life aware of what she has done, in eternal remorse for her.
Patrick loved his wife dearly and she destroyed him for an illicit sexual affair with a predator. Someone who only wanted to bed her as he evidently done with many other older married women. Sadly she figured out too late that the second wasn't worth her trust. Now she has broken and destroyed the heart and soul of the man she says she loves. The very man who evidently loved her more than he did himself. The man who valued her their marriage vow. On top of that the ap is dead partly because she seem to have forgotten to show love and respect to and for her husband. And couldn't keep her legs close and both feet on the floor. In addition there's the effect that this will have on his brother and sister-in-law, her sister and the AP's family. What an emotional burden she'll have to carry for the rest of her life. Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.
Poor and disappointing ending.
I haven’t watched all of it yet, but the title reminded me of a story that the guy finds out his wife had cheated through her diary, I think, and after a lot of stuff they stayed together and I think he forgave her. Years later she died of cancer and he was there with her. I know he probably did something very honorable and maybe I’m just a terrible person, but that ending bothers me til this day.
No....hes....just like many others who is afraid to move on. Sad, really.

It was a good story but the ending had holes in it. Law enforcement doesn’t give up for one thing. She came home and nothing from the red flags she saw! Why did she not realize that something was very wrong with the husband still missing the next day! It seems like the writer was in a hurry to finish the story.
He had to do this to either or both of them. Or should he have given her a divorce?
