Love it that you address the battery issue in great detail, because this is by far the most important issue in all BEV. I wanted too buy the high powered Volvo EX30 but they could not guarantee the battery manufacturer and didn't even want to comment on it. If it's not Panasonic, LG, or Samsung, I don't want it.

Regarding "Pet Mode": It's even more absurd that this is not standard on ANY car if you consider that "pet mode" is actually also what you need if you have kids and they want to stay in the car to watch youtube e.g. at the grocery shopping.

I have a Tesla Model Y, also Shanghai made in 2021, one of the first 150 Model Y's in the Netherlands.
Best car I ever had, and I have zero issues with it, the heatpump is fantastic.
I got the all wheel drive long range, so probably the same battery as yours, my experience is about the same, I hardly get the advertised 250Kw charging speed. but on road trips I tend to use the charging stops to charge myself too, to get a coffee, have a bathroom break, lunch or dinner, so the somewhat longer charging times do not bother me much.
I got a Tow Hitch installed a few months after delivery, because during the delivery time it was not certified yet. But towing my glider trailer to Germany is a blast! and it does not eat into the range so much as I expected. On a 700Km trip I could do it in 2 charging stops, but I like to end with some charge at my destination, so I do it in 3 stops. By now I know the superchargers I do not have to remove the trailer to be able to charge.
But towing my trailer is fun! I no longer have to slow down when going up a steep hill and join the big rigs, like I had to do with my previous gas car.. and the fun part is when going down the regenerative braking charges the battery.. So in the end driving through the German middle mountains does not take much more energy as driving in the flat Netherlands.
According A Better Route Planner the battery has degraded about 7.8% now, but I never had the advertised range, I started with 480Km real world range while it was advertised with 507Km WLTP., ABRP shows a 72.8 Kwh capacity, I have driven 50.000Km
I cannot charge at home, but have a public AC 17Kw charger at the parking lot where I would park my car anyways. I charge about once or twice per week to 90% and then drive it untill it gets below 20% and then plug it in again. Note that I use the charge immdiately, so it does not stay at 90% for long, because that would be bad for the battery. Only during road trips I let the charge drop to below 10% because it will not stay at that SOC for long and will be charged soon after it dropped below 10%.
I included FSD with my purchase, but my patience has been tested for this, but hopefully we will get FSD (Supervised) here in the Netherlands 1Q 2025, right now it is basically at the level of 2020, works OK on the highway and main connecting roads, but that is about it.
I am not thinking about selling my Model Y at all, it is still as new, both inside as outside, no rattles or squeeqs whatsoever, still solid as a rock

I had impression that you will have some mayor issue with the car, but you had several minor one's. Two biggest are battery type and AC reliability. One bigger car failure in 80.000km is acceptable. Depreciation of new Tesla's is real concern, especially because you bought it when they were most expensive.
On the other hand, you have to ask around about the vehicle you want to buy or to watch some YT vids. People had some MAYOR issues with some VW EV models, you have to be cautious about it.
Tesla or some Chinese could be better option.

My Highland LR have had to change rear drive unit and all 4 half shafts after just 12000 km. I had vibrations at certain speeds from when it was new, but Tesla blamed it on tires.
I still have vibrations and abnormal sounds starting at the exact same speed as before they changed all those parts and Tesla says that it is within spec.
When you buy a Tesla, you also get the worst service that exists and the lowest quality "quality checks"

Do not use a :penetrant like WD40 on door hinges, they will soon wear out under heavy use. A penetrant is very thin and evaporates within days. Use a "lubricant" or "lubricant/penetrant" such as the popular "Fluid Film."

Man i dont think i can speak more than two minutes about my cars. They just drive and i dont think about them.. 2021 Audi q3 tdi 200 quattro, 78k km and 2016 Suzuki SCross ddis 4x4 with 191k km. Both extremely frugal, 0 issues or visits to sevice for repairs, both go everywhere with good tires and both tow 1300kg trailer with almost no issues. I like EVs but cars are to important for me to play with charging, updates and visits to service but i can understend why people are willing to go trough all that. Maybe i will buy one, one day.

i am from central europe, have nearly identical tesla and have 98% same opinion like you. driving and charging. VERY same lol.
mine is 2021/9, 45 000 kms and have 6.5% degradation - you have double kilometers and only 1% more. 25% DC 75% ac charning, charning to only 80-85% soooo ... yea i am dissapointed too. charging curve is also VERY similar.
have it in RED with WHITE interior and it's extremly nice, so yea - big mistake not to buy white interior.
I have clear ppf too full car too - it was "only" 3000 euros, it makes red even brighter and very easy to clean insects after highway driving, i do not regret it.
for me biggest problem was clicking sound - from wheels so i had to travel to service just one month after purchase. but it was just some easy greasing. second time i did it locally and no problem since then.
Also second problem was with damaged wheel cover - it made sounds like a train ! i had to visit budapest twice until they found it.
Also had replaced front window for free - it cracked just out of nowhere, and during replacement they somehow damaged rod for steering wheel - so again had to come back again and they replaced it for free too.
next week i have my 5th service visit - 12V battery died and steering wheel has buldge - both will be free too.

Battery degradation is never linear but exponential drop so you got this one wrong. +3 80k km and you drop more than +8% . That means that you loose not another extra 33km but more like close to 66 or even more. Especially taking in account that LiIon battery is considered end-of-life when it reaches to 80% capacity line. Some manufacturers have lowered it to 70%.

All cars will rust eventually. This can be mitigated by spraying vulnerable components with products like Fluid Film, Rust Check (Canadian product) etc. This will coat metal parts with a light water-repelling oil and help lubricate bushings. It's a must if you live in areas where salt is used on the roads in winter. WD40 is a water repellent and isn't a rust inhibitor and isn't a lubricant (WD = water dispersant).

Assumptions: you loaned 450000 kroner for this, in a market with approx. 6% annual interest rate, for 5 years:
You will have paid in interest about $2500 in the first year, $2000 the second year, and $1300 in the third year of owning the car. So nearly $6000 in interest.
If you had the loan on 8 years, you would have spend an additional $1000 in interest in the first three years.
