I really LOVE your version of the 15pan Metropolis palette! You must have a very creative/artistic mind, 👏 bravo. Also, I have been so tempted by her larger palettes for so long but the price 😵💫 The "Star" and the blue big palletes are still on my wishlist. I bought the dupe for the Metropolis so that will have to do for now. Your video definitely helped calm the temptation...for now, lol.
The Gold palette is actually back in stock on her website as well!!! I grabbed it, but for this one I’m good just having the Alter Ego Artemis palette.
I think the Gold palette is the best formula Natasha offers. Beautiful textured shimmers, amazing mattes. It’s the only one I would repurchase. She hasn’t done anything like it since.

I went to Bremen (Germany) last weekend and went to Sephora since we don't have a Sephora in the Netherlands.. They had de GOLD palette for 30% off and then again for a extra 20% off at the cashier. I got the Natasha Denona Gold palette for only €67 euro's!! I was so happy, because I was kinda sad I didn't grab it.. SOOOO, If you live in the Bremen area. GRAB IT, because there was still one left! :)
I’ve had the gold palette & still in love with it- if you are on the fence about it, get it!!! Yes it’s a lot of gold shadows but I love neutral looks and I love all the different textures present.
I was so mad i bought this one and the gold second hand and paid well over sell price only for her to bring both back.... That said its a great palette and im happy i have it

As someone who bought the palette the first time around, I will be purchasing another. I have panned about 1/3 of the palette and love that I can pop out shades I want for travel. It has been honestly my most used and loved palette in all of my collection and definitely reccomend it to those not quite sure about it. It can be a splurge but i can do so many looks you can find purpose for every shade.
Metropolis and Zendo swatched next to each other can look quite similar, you’re right. I like your condensed version. Got this palette after lusting after it for more than a year. Oh boy, it’s my worst and most expensive regret. Metropolis dupes itself too many times and at that price point I shouldn’t have to deal with glitter fallout. Mini Glam and Zendo would have been totally sufficient for me and a lot less repetitive. Not worth the hype, get the mini.
Natasha Denona confirmed on Instagram that the Gold was being discontinued. Would bet it was the same story on the Metropolis. What I think happened is both palettes are still disco’d. The brand ran down the stock but then warehousing found some cases of palettes and they’re back on the website. I’ve seen it happen with Sephora and brands that contract out warehousing all the time. I’m happy it means that people who missed out have the opportunity to get their hands on them.
i mixed the metro with the love palette. there really was too many orange brown shades in metro, and I love the cream to powder formula, so i put all of those ad the most textured shimmers in one and it's so pretty!
I picked this up on her website yesterday!! Also soooo tempted by the gold palette, though I noticed that the gold palette is no longer marked as “limited edition.”
ND makes I so many different textures like now in her new chroma crystal, but she letters then all M for metallic. If you look at the similar colors they each have some subtle differences in texture or intensity of different metallic’s. all in a complex color scheme. Lovely 😊 I love how she throws herself into each meticulous detail for each collection.
There are just so palettes that stick in your brain! I just bought the BPerfect Antidote palette today. It is huge but I cannot get past that color story. This is such a fun video!
The thing is, even though I shouldn’t have spent the money on this and the gold palette, I know I won’t regret it. I will use the absolute stew out of these two. And I LOVE your rearrangement of the metropolis. Totally reorganizing it that way. First two ND palettes I’ll have ever owned 😍😍😍

I don't know how she would bring it back as a "Midi" when the shadows in it are already the Midi size, there's just 28 of them instead of 15, hence the higher price.
I like this idea of reviewing and playing with older makeup (even tho it's new to your collection lol) it's making me want to bust mine out and play with it!
I labeled mine and started playing as soon as i received it too. Then i mixed it with my sunrise palette and made a full warm-neutral-ish palette in the metropolis shell and a more colourful palette in the sunrise shell. ❤️
You are so amazing! I love how you redid that palette…it felt like you were playing with scrabble pieces, but yeah I’ve never seen anyone do that! I’ve seen people take em out and destroy them or replace them, but never have I seen anybody adjust the color story!
The organised version of Metropolis at about 7:30 mark gives me Colourpop It‘s a Mood vibes, but better because there are no purples 🤣 I also love the cut down version a‘la midi Zendo. It has been on my mind since it released and I‘m just hesitant to pick it up as it got mixed reviews and I never tried ND, but the mix of corals and teals just hits some strings in my heart and I can‘t stop thinking about it 🤣

Natasha should hire you!!!!! 🤩 I have the sheglam dupe (not the same quality, but most of the shades are spot on and I can make it work), bought it because I wanted to test the colour story before buying the real thing and ended up not loving it, too orange for my liking. I wouldn't have had any doubt purchasing your version though! 😍 I don't buy Natasha's palettes anymore because I became allergic to carmine, and because at that price point I think I'd rather have some special indie eyeshadows, but the metropolis will always be desirable in my head. I have a lot of ND palettes including the metropolis & the gold which i got btw before it disappeared in Dubai .. I’m not regretting any of these purchases the metropolis has an exquisite formula btw because it has her enhanced cream formula waaaay different experience from the powdery formula of the gold palette and I believe dupe palettes as well … i loved the metropolis its very unique to my collection and to the trending color stories nowadays .. most palettes released are leaning pinkish & burgundy this is amazing go for it

I love this palette, it’s one of my favourites in my collection! I just bought the Triochrome palette, mainly for the mattes, because that one is getting increasingly harder to find.

I actually like your 15 pan version way better then the original - for that price there are just too many unnecessary repeats and thats why I didnt get it. Natasha Denona always makes that mistake. None of her stories so far made my buy it. Just not well done as far as color stories, they all could have been much better.
The big palette is so pretty and kinda reminds me of the NYX Ultimate Utopia palette and some of the shades you used also make me more tempted by the Pastelle palette. I bought the Metropolis palette and I love it so far, but I think you're right that it's a little repetitive, especially with the gold/bronze shades. I still love it though, and when I eventually get around to labelling all my ND shades, I'm looking forward to creating a palette using the blues and greens from Metropolis and Zendo, and maybe some reds or purples, and probably keeping some oranges.

Great video! I had the same feelings as you about the palette, I was not in the least bit interested. The palette seemed too jumbled. However, I was sad I did not pick it up when it was gone because I too am a huge Natasha Denona fan! Needless to say, I now own it-I jumped on it when it was re-issued!
Loving the look you came out with. I was so excited to get this palette, and I waited until I could get it on sale, but when I finally got it in my hands, it was complete chaos. I did a couple looks with it, and I just wasn't happy with it at all. I plan on selling it soon.❤❤
I had the Metropolis palette and after trying it a couple of times decided that I didn't want it. This palette was really instrumental in teaching me that I'm not really into warm shades.. specifically warm browns; so I sold it. Best part is that I only paid $29 + tax for it but was able to sell it for a small profit 😁 (only like $20 which actually went into shipping, but still lol)

I think with ND it’s textures almost more than colors. She has not less than 4 types of metallic all labeled simply M That being said I’m finding endless combinations with this palette the 28 blue/purple @ the 28 green/brown along with BIBA🤷🏼♀️. Also this has mostly crème powder mattes 👍

The pans look bigger to me for some reason in the spaced out 15 pan palette versus being all crammed together in the 28 pan palette. Love the creativity but I'd be too scared to destroy my pans, I tried panning once and it was a disaster lol luckily it was just a physician formula brick of a palette but still heart breaking because it was one of my favorite palettes

This palette was really instrumental in teaching me that I'm not really into warm shades.. specifically warm browns; so I sold it. Best part is that I only paid $29 + tax for it but was able to sell it for a small profit 😁 (only like $20 which actually went into shipping, but still lol)

Your 15 pan looks like what Zendo should have been! PS try this: layer the duochrome over one of the peachy/orange cream to powder shades.
looking at this video made me go look to see if the palettes I want and need to finish my ND collection was in stock… and wow I DON’T SEE the STAR PALETTE on her website or on Sephora I hope 🤞🏽 she haven’t DC this palette MY HEART is going to HURT 😢… I need biba also to finish my big eyeshadow palettes collection from her I see that one still on both websites…….I really hope Star ⭐️ palette isn’t gone
I think with ND it’s textures almost more than colors. She has not less than 4 types of metallic all labeled simply M That being said I’m finding endless combinations with this palette the 28 blue/purple @ the 28 green/brown along with BIBA🤷🏼♀️. Also this has mostly crème powder mattes 👍

I remember wanting the Metropolis, and I let it slip by. I still think I'm okay without it. Ordering the sgein version because I want their chrome liners. May grab the gold palette though.
Stunning look as usual Lauren, those tones make your blue eyes stand out. I’d get this one but I got the Gold palette instead, maybe later on if it’s still available.

Do I need this palette if I have the gold, bronze, retro, star, tropic, safari, camel, glam, biba, triochrome, lila, mini glam palette??? Looking at them spread out next to the depotted bronze shadows, look awfully familiar!

The pans look bigger to me for some reason in the spaced out 15 pan palette versus being all crammed together in the 28 pan palette. Love the creativity but I'd be too scared to destroy my pans, I tried panning once and it was a disaster lol luckily it was just a physician formula brick of a palette but still heart breaking because it was one of my favorite palettes
