I've been asking overswing problem to number of pros and searching for tons of videos but nobody exactly know why. Now I found it here. Simple and logical explanation. Thank you

Thank you Chris, I've overswing for years, resulting in an over the top swing path. I've had countless lessons but never been told why or how my body gets into that position. After seeing this video and understanding cause it's apparent why I would come over the top. I've made some swing changes and within two weeks I've shot my best round ever in twenty years of playing (74) and regained lost power in my longer clubs. Thank you so much. I'm a 12 HC currently.

Same here. No one could ever explain what I was doing to make this happen. I'm a 6 HCP, and if I could just fix this damn overswing I feel like I could get to scratch. Thank you sir.

5 handicap suffering from an over swing for 15 years. No one could figure me out and one pro actually gave me my money back and said “that’s a tough one.” This tip fixed me and has lead to some of my best ball striking in my life.

Excellent point. I have been over swinging all my life and never heard of such a simple cure. For decades(literally), I have been trying to correct it by trying to keep my left arm straight, but it's not the culprit, so this makes absolute sense. THANKS so MUCH!

You are jus brilliant! I have been struggling with this for so long. I am a 13 handicap golfer so I have made my method work, but I will never reach my potential until I can fix my over swiping. When I try to shorten it is seems sooo short. What you showed me in this video has opened my eyes, and I know I will be able to make this change now. Thank you for all your awesome videos. They are all game changers!!

This video made me realize how much I was overturning on my backswing, which leads to fat shots or pull hooks. I have been practicing this for weeks and now I have been striking the ball much better, my goal is to beat my best score, 83, before the end of the year. Thanks Chris, if you were close to me I would take some lessons.

this is by far the best instruction i have seen on youtube, hands down. i started looking at pga golfer swings and i have yet to find 1!!! freaking golfer that doesnt have their right arm in front of their body. of course the swing looks like a full swing but thats given their ability to turn their shoulder and i dont have hald the flexibility so why would i want to turn as much. absolutely best advise! happy 2019! i will keep you update on how i progress with this tip.
    thank you,

Thanks Chris, watching this video has made me realise that I have been inadvertently letting my trail arm (left arm, I'm a leftie, the "forgotten" golfers 😁) get behind me instead of staying in front of my chest as you so capably demonstrated. That in itself I think has contributed to a collapsing lead arm (right arm for me); was horrified to see when I filmed myself yesterday that the lead arm was bent into almost a right angle, and I thought it was straight! 😆😔

Chris, I have this problem with "opening" my right shoulder and having my right elbow too far away from me in the back swing. Keeping my right elbow in front of me is difficult. Do you recommend something like the tour striker "smart ball" to help with this? My guess is that it won't help me because I also have no problem moving my left arm in together with my right arm, but I just wanted to check. Thanks!
