    A really beautiful painting and you make it sound so easy!!! I absolutely love your tutorials, nice clear explanations of everything you are doing, and why.     Thank you very much for this demonstration Karen - It's lovely. You are the first artist I have heard who stresses the importance of using creamier paint on top of wet to avoid it all dissipating and mixing together. That's something that I need to practice. Just subscribed to your channel

    Thanks for quick reply I use clear water between stages May water and colour proportion is wrong
    I am not a ptoffetional artist so using some old tubes about 3/4 yrs old I will try with few new tubes
    I am always appreciate you for sending prompt advice

    Hi Karen, I finally joined the patreon sight. So exciting!!! My biggest problem was the sail boat, believe it or not. I didn't have an eradicator brush, so I used a regular brush. I just couldn't get all the green off, so the sail ended up in a dirty green. I am thinking of using white paint when the sail is dry. Your tutorial was so much fun. Thank you.

    So I guess you waited until your painting was completely dry before you removed the bristle? I’ve had that happen to me and tried to remove it immediately, only to make marks that I didn’t want😢

      I usually use a watercolour block. You can use mdf boards.

      I resisted removing it until my painting was dry. Removing brush hairs from wet paintings can be very tricky! Always best to remove when dry 😊

    I find the speed at which you paint and speak to be sooooo fast.
    Love your work but can’t use it as a basis for tutorial learning because of the sheer pace.
