I have 2 north american white ash that are dying from emerald ash bore. I've tried cuttings (cloning), but not this method. I'm going to try this. This might be my last chance to save the trees. They are both 30 years old and my daughters grew them from cuttings. I've never been successful with cuttings from these trees. They are both 35ft tall, and I am hoping to save each through cuttings / cloning. It would be a heart break to lose them both, but I'm running out of time... they are both almost dead. Thank you for your wonderful video and I am going to give this a try in the spring. I wish you all the very best in 2020! :)

@@pugle1 you could also try air layering to get a clone.
@@darabrown9211 I honestly don't think they'll live long enough to try that, but I probably try just out of desperation. I was having them treated with Treeazin at the beginning of the ash borer out-break. Treatment is required every two years, but the cost is prohibitive. I think my two are some of the last survivors in the area, and last season, there was very significant die-back. They are throwing out suckers like crazy to survive, I'm hoping some of those will make good cutting, but sadly I think we are only about half way through the ash borer cycle which apparently can last for 12 to 15 years before they move on. Thanks for the advice :) Happy new year.

I never tried root booster but with a plain water it works..I change once in two days 👍(nice video by the way)🙏
i make one without root booster and root grow slow compare using it. Thanks sir support my cahnnel.

I did something similar last year with a matured castor oil plant (Ricinus communis), it worked!
