My friend got this model at a crafts store where I discovered it.I started the kit for him to finish it.He owns the full version of the car.I did a lot of the mechanical and some custom work on it
And we took it to many cruise-inns and car shows.hopefully he can take the model with him and show it with the full scale car.It a nice rideing car.

I'm currently in the process of building that very same kit, although, to a quite stock theme. Your video is well done and informative. I also subscribed.

You can always do a restomod. Or a sleeper. Looks like stock but with bigger motor wheels and tires.
Whatever you decide, it will be very nice. Stay safe 🍻🌲. Muscle cars are another 🐇🕳. 😃

I just built this kit, that only feedback I would have is there is a nasty sink mark on the body next to the headlights on top of the front fenders. Right under the volute. It is a great kit, goes together great.

Great review Paul. Look forward to this future build your channel. The custom look is the better look for sure.

In my case, classic old Airfix, Matchbox and Heller....brings me back to my childhood!
Roy Cross and Roy Huxley have got a lot to answer to....😉😆😂

As I'm learning from the '41 pickup build I'm doing Revell are or at least were terrible about where they put ejector pin marks. Usually in glaring places, or in the middle of fine detail, and often they cause sink marks on the other side. Nice unboxing Paul

You know far more about cars than you are letting on Paul 👍
It's a very nice kit,I built one many years ago, and. the 55 and 57 chevy kits are just as nice too (not the ones with the opening doors they are shite) .
Looking forward to your build of this.
I would put a primer guide coat on that roof then sand down just to pick up any low areas, I can't remember having many issues with mine.

I believe the star next to the part number means a chrome part.

Looking forward to this one! I echo your thoughts on chrome parts. These problems are worse on older mouldings as the makers tend to chrome plate the flash too! Domestos is an integral part of car modelling.

Predominately Dynamo's were used on cars prior to the 60's, from then on it was Alternators ;)

I just unsubscribe from a few of model builders on utube because of them doing alot of talking and really less building and how to tips.I'm really liking what i see and hearing from your utube channel.I watched The Cranky show all the time but i haven't seen anything new from him in a while has something happen to him is a mystery to me.I hoping to have a good experience with the way you build your model's.Thanks

I build mostly Revell kits and they are a hit and miss when it comes to part quality. And it is difficult to determine exactly what part of Revell made the kit and the original date of production: Revell Germany, Revell USA, etc. It seems that this kit has original tooling with new decals. Sometimes that is a plus, that is, newer tooling can be a hit and miss too.
Thus, I am looking forward to your build. You make it look easy though.
