I built one as a kid as well it got taken apart and used to build others. Than got a model king kit and ended up selling and buying it back. Built it up and was fun. Yours turned out nice.
Cool kit , but the wheels suck ! I've had to get after market old school deep dish slots or cragers or daisy mags. Candy colors are a great choice too , and the engine is easy to plumb and detail

You were careful with the decals, and I questioned why did you seem to want it on b-4 the kit was completed. There's a risk of damage to the decals, and making the application i still say i would recommend for the very last thing you do. You did a bang-up job all theough, though, and you're to be commended on your efforts. If it were me, I would have painted the body jet black, and the customary silver foiling, and the interior in a match combo, and done away with the decals, and dubbed my work as "The Black Knight". Your idea of the windshield being a mandatory clear, but the remaining glass blue tint was a genius move. It worked with your color scheme, and it would make the black one look only.... SINISTER! Major wicked looking. Finally, if I could get it, the custom eggcrate grille from out of the Revell '57 Bel Air kit. But you certainly made your statement with this, your superb finished product.
