Your father is just translating a hostile propaganda. I'm myself is a roman catholic, and Lithuania, Ukraine and other former parts of Russia have a lot of catholics. As for orthodoxy, Kievskaya Rus' was christened before the Church has splintered, and cultural bonds between Russia and catholic Europe were always very strong.

Dear Father Alair, Thank you for being a Priest, for your Homily's, for your Explaining the Faith Series for your books and all that you do as a Priest. I have learned so much from you! The Divine Mercy Devotion gives me hope that I can make it to Heaven someday. I believe that you are leading not only me but all people to a personal relationship with God and making them get serious about living their Catholic faith. I wish I would have had this training when I was in CCD class and in Religious Studies classes in College. I will continue praying for you. Thank you Fr. for this much needed talk. I will be Consecrated to our Blessed Mother this Saturday. Our Blessed Mother brought me closer to Jesus after I returned back to the faith and my love for Jesus is on fire. I have been inspired to bring our youth to Jesus through Mother Mary and the holy rosary as she did for me. I feel a strong calling to do this, but I don't know how yet. Please pray for me if this Marian mission is in God's will for me. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.🙏 ❤️🔥🕊️

I went back to this Explaining the Triump of the Immaculate Heart of Mary catechism class I saved from last year 2021. Thank you Father Chris for this has such relevance as we are facing the January 26,2022 Ukraine, Russia ,United StatesNato build up towards a Russia's high alert threats to ignore the sovereign rights under God. As a pope Francis has asked us to pray the rosary for peace may we also pray to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for her intercession. 🙏
