I feel like you can see the improvements in the girls from La Vie en Rose to this song. Their dance is much sharper, the voices are clearer, and they overall blend better as a group. I think for La Vie En Rose, they were pushing to debut the girls as soon as possible after the conclusion of Produce 48 so the release was a bit rushed and before the girls really figured out how to blend as a group. It was still amazing and a great song. But in the 5-6 months since then, they've spent more time together and I think that helped them learn each other and really become a group. Considering there's 12 members, with various levels in dance, from different companies and they've only been training together for a few months, they move really well together and have amazing choreography. The Music Video just does the dance no justice.
The dance is more intense then LVER which is fitting since their debut had more of a smooth soft chorus while this one is loud and fast paced.
They also bought this song from Cube, which was originally produced with another group in mind. They still made it a great song but they definitely started to come together with their later comebacks :)

1. Choreo is really amazing as you say, but when you watch the dance practice version. Deym boi you can say that this is in par with other GGs on the top. They killed it!
2. Most epic. "The water dancer silhoutte" is Yujin. The Same girl that you really liked on LVER.

Me Is Orbit It sucks because the group she did have a debut with a few years ago only sang one song and suddenly disbanded. From my knowledge, and I could be wrong, the company that this group (Ye-a) shut down.
@@trinitywidmann7667 it was a few things, the company was struggling it was a last hope effort and the song flopped the company had no strong financial backing and sadly fell flat causing the disbandment. Glad Woolim recruited her tho since Woolim is a nice, and fairly strong company.

LVER was just okay for me but Violeta is a different story, I LOVE Violeta instantly and I really love the vibe that it has, kinda like WJSN's songs which I REALLY LOVE 😍

In Violeta there's a lot bright, crystal like lighting (those diamonds, mirrors, water, chandelier... ) that made the MV became a brighter and more dreamy kind. As a fan, of course I like La Vie en Rose, but Violeta is SO gorgeous on both the song and MV, I just love it really much.

The best part for me in the MV was the Yujin’s water scene. It was mysterious and elegant. Though when it comes to Violeta stage performance, the best part for me was Sakura’s butterfly dance. It was simple, powerful and elegant. You should check out their Mnet’s comeback Violeta’s stage performance.
He also shouted in Eunbi’s line in La Vie En Rose... Kwon’s part truly is amazing, she needs to do a high note!!!

I admittedly wasn't a big fan of LVER - but Violeta and the whole mini album (especially Up!), are slowly making me become a fan. Also, that surprise 2-part chorus on the last drop killed it!

Даня Таргарян because I knew nothing about them. I had no idea what produce 48 was about ( was fairly new to Kpop at that time ) also hearing that it used to be a CLC song, didn’t help my opinion of them at that time. I really wanted clc to come back ( completely satisfied with the new album so I’m glad I waited lol). Also I never liked very young groups so that was another reason, just like what pd said about some voices standing out too much. I had the same thoughts on nako and hitomi, however this song and album makes me love them now and appreciate their voices. Lastly I’m watching produce48 that’s how dedicated I am now 😍😍😍😍😍

Violeta is honestly such a big jump from La Vie En Rose. It low-key made me gay for Minju even tho I'm already gay for Wonyoung. Overall, I loved the aesthetic and everything.
Edit: So I did this thing and what i did was overlap the rap from both LVER and Violeta. The flow sounds very similar but yet at the same time very unique and has its own individuality

Violeta is SUCH a good (and slightly underrated) song. And the Heart*IZ album is straight up amazing. I just love how diverse and great IZ*One's discography is developing. OTR isn't slacking in giving them quality music 😁👍

This song is so addicting
I just love how Violeta is such a satisfying song. Most songs tend to be following the trend of being "minimalistic" which is not bad really, or songs that you feel like something is really just missing. One recent example would be Blackpink's Kill This Love (no hate, I love the song) but it really just left me hanging for more.
But that last breakdown chorus just fills in every missing piece. Like a last special ingredient for a recipe.
I think your comparison of LVER and Violeta is pretty spot on! Love the water dancing scene too! ;)

CHECK OUT "HIGHLIGHT" in the same album! It's dark & fast paced house/dance!
I'm gonna be real, the single shots that really pulled me in are Yuri and Sakura and Minju. The way the aestheticness blended with them, especially the mirror background of Sakura, is so pleasing. I mean, all of them have very beautiful shots but I think these three are the ones who really upped their game at Violetta. I am a bit sad no one is talking about the mirror shot of Sakura, or Yuri's beautiful shot.

She defo was missing massively in Violetta compared to LVER (especially since she’s the Most popular member internationally)
(In my eyes she should’ve had that water dance rather then Yujin, to cover up the lack of her presence and cause she’s the main dancer).
I think chayeons voice fits slower paced songs/ballads better
