I spotted some real nice pieces especially the jackets, those are real nice. And a few jeans and shirts. I like D squared they've always had very unique style and that's what they're all about.
I believe in layers. Layers are wonderful. It's great when you can put on and remove them as they are needed. So necessary in a town full of micro-climates like here in San Francisco. I'm behind a call to fashion that advocates for layers, thus making my life easier. Bravo!

The red coat is amazing, I loved it!
There are definite some pieces you can pick out from the collection. The leather jackets are fantastic. Any rock and roll guy in LA would look amazing in that red motorcycle jacket with the palm trees. And guys on the street from high school to college are already doing the shorts and leggings thing. I've seen it everywhere this summer in Spain and definitely all over the streets in North America. Head to a mall in a big city and you'll see teens wearing this stuff. Just not the designer pieces.
There were some of the cutest guys who can pull off anything.
That was a nice and fresh, young and cool collection, omg i loved every second of it.

This collection is not teenage, surfing, nor nomadic but it does look heartbreaking. It's more like busy, messy and dirty. But having a second look individually at some of the pieces, some are wearable and not as bad.

Okay j couldn't hear any of the intro... But come on it was a good fashion show... I loved the urban feel to the clothes and can tell they've put a lot of creative genius into the "put together" love this stuff and definitely will be looking to purchase stuff!

Jean-Paul Gaultier discovered tattoo prints long time ago. But the idea is still brilliant! You can easily remove a full body tattoo when you get enough of it.

This is what happens when a designer has a lot of left over fabrics. There were so many things going on at the same time that my attention went down to the models' hands which the make up artists forgot to camouflage. I guess its purpose was to show how tanning affects your skin...In my opinion, there will be no teenagers (unless they are filthy rich or get this clothes for free) wearing this collection.

David Sarif haha. DSQUARED2 is one of my favorite labels but would have to agree that this is not one of their best collections by far. It's 90% shit, it's like they're running out of ideas. Looks like a rush job like they overslept and woke up on show day and had to whip something up quick!

Lol the only thing more funny then this collection is reading all your comments...It's young, funky & fashion !!! & it is clearly inspired by 'Nomad/club/surfer/travellers" I do like how 'talented designers' take their inspiration from something & just 'run with it' allowing us to see the realm of possibilities & ideas we may otherwise never invisage. Like most collections. There are moments of brilliance here & some crazy Eclectic mixes too & a willingness to 'push the boat out' & move fwd Not just 'do more of the same' Art & Design Relies on past influences to dictate the future, these boundaries do hav2b pushed, played with, distorted & re:launched in order to keep fashion fresh & interesting.

Can someone explain the psychology of middle aged gay men who have a precocity to behave and mimic 16-21 year old youth? There is something unsettling about these two men. I hope no struggling model is being taken advantage by these type of queen$, but I wouldn't be surprised if stories appear in headlines some day. And lay of the suntan beds , Botox and fillers, as they make 51 year olds look 61.

They look for models at parties , and the interview is done on their knees , and trust me, the one on their knees are the designers, and i would know , i was a model for nearly 15 years (but i did it to put myself through med school) .
As for the obsession with youth, i understand your point of view , but i guess just like me , you live in a regular town in a regular area . Now go spend 3 years in LA and you will understand the desperation of those twins to try looking younger . In the gay community , youth is a gift and a sort of masterkey (especially if it's combined with beauty) that opens the doors to almost everything . In LA in general and in west Hollywood in particular this is even worse. Over 25, you're old, over 30 , you're a daddy, over 40, you're basically a geriatric and over 50 you'd better be a millionaire or you do not even exist anymore and are as good as dead .
I am a 40 years old man , i am gay , i am also married (to another guy) and father of four, so in terms of of the gay community , i am not even a dilf , i'm a fossil from another era . I chose not to fill my face with anything , but rather to fill my head , and instead of lurking in the gay bars , i chose to take my little family to the mountains of Zurich Switzerland , opened a clinic there with my husband who is also a veterinarian , and raise our kids in an healthy , mature and intellectually challenging environment , plus the best boarding schools in the world are only miles away . But had i chosen to do med school in the plastic surgery field , in California , and settled there with my 20 years old boytoy/partner , i might have ended up like those twins . Personally i pity them more than anything else . I find them sad and tragic and i understand why they use so much drugs , it must be a freaking nightmare to still live and work in the fashion beauty industry in your 50s , and realize that your looks are gone for good, that no amount of surgery or filling will get it back, to be constantly surrounded by people who think you are an old freak, to only be able to trade sex for an appearance on the runway , to be stuck between desperation and self hatred , with only the drugs as an escape. They may make millions , but i wouldn't trade my life for their even for a 1000 times their net worth .
I go to gay bars every now and then to catch up with friends and i am always appalled when i see old guys at the counter acting like teens, some of then even looking down on me, thinking i am two old for them, when they are actually 10 to 20 years older than me . This is the sad reality of our times. But this makes me extremely happy to eventually return to my house at the end of the day , find my middle age husband , and kids sleeping , and not some 20 years old with his 20 years old friends checking out their social media accounts and taking selfies.
The designers are like little elf's. I think they just enjoy dressing up young boys. I'm jealous
This is 'Future Fashion As Art' U may not take everything from it but im sure there some ideas here that will filter down to the high street in a few years time & reach the masses... This is how the catwalk & 'high fashion' worx. It shows new directions & sets future trends for us to aspire twds & shows us the possibilities so that we too may express our own style & individuality !!!

can get this look by making a quick stop at the thrift store. I think it could have been an interesting idea if so much junk wasn't piled on top of each other making it look hobo-y. Less is more for this style.
Love the Tattoo fabric....hate the Neon. One thing good about this is after the show they can all just throw the rags in a pile...no need for racks and hangers.

I actually liked this and for those people hating: everyone has the right to wear whatever the hell they want and I think it's fine that they broke some stereotypes. If you take time to see it the pieces are not even that nasty, they just went a little unusual with the way they combined everything
