ನಾಗನ ಗೌಡ್ರು ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ರೂ.7 ಪಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಡಿಮೆ ಸಂಸಾರ ಸಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಈಗ ಗೌಡಪ್ಪನ ಡಾಬಾ ಎಂದೆ ಹೆಸರಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಥೆ ಇದೆ . ಡಾಬಾ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪಂಜಾಬಿನವರು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗಣ್ಣಗೌಡರು ಅದರ ಮುಂದೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಬೀಡಾ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರಣಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದ ಪಂಜಾಬಿ ಡಾಬಾದವರು ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು,ಅವರು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಗೌಡಪ್ಪನವರಿಗೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಹೋದರು.ಕಾಲ ನಂತರ ಗೌಡರೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಿ ಈಗ ಕೆನೆ ಮೊಸರಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿ ಈ ಡಾಬಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಲು ದೂರ ದೂರದಿಂದ ಜನ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬನ್ನಿ, ಇಳಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಗೌಡಪ್ಪನ ಡಾಬಾ ಗೆ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ..
Nagan Gowda worked for Rs. 7 per week. There is a big story behind this hotel which is now known as Gaudappa's Daba. Naganna Gowda used to keep a small beeda shop in front of the daba when it was run by former Punjabis. Due to some reasons, the Punjabi dhaba left the hotel and left it to Gaudappa.
