Crossbody Bag with Adjustable Strap

I like the detail that the yellow leather flap has added to this bag, it is a mustard shade of yellow, which complements the fabric design very well. It is also a good example of how to embellish a bag by mixing materials.
MATERIALS:
-Main fabric:
- For the body: 2 pieces 14 ½ x 11 ½”
- For the flap: 2 pieces 5 ¾” x 3 ½”
- For the zipper end tabs: 2 pieces
- For the D-rings: 2 pieces 4” x 3 ½” if you are using fabric OR 1” x 3 ½”, if you are using a non fraying material, such as leather, vinyl or cork, *** Please check if these measurements are suitable for the width of your zipper. ***
- For the strap: 1 piece 4” x 63” if you are using fabric, if you are using herringbone tape as I did, you might just need the length. *** .
Lining fabric:
- For the body: 2 pieces 14 ½ x 11 ½”
- For the pocket: 2 pieces 8” x 6 ½”
You will also need:
- 2 swivel hooks which D-rings are about 1”
- 2 : 1” D-rings
- 1adjustable strap slider : 1”
- 1 zipper longer than 14 ½”
